Here's a Step-by-Step Process for converting ICS files to CSV Format
Step 1: First of all, download the DRS Softech ICS Converter Tool on your PC. Once downloaded, run the setup file and follow the installation instructions to install the software on your system.
Step 2:On the main interface, click on the "Add File/Add Folder" button to load your ICS file. Navigate to the folder where your ICS file is stored. Select the ICS file and click "Open".
Note: You can also select multiple ICS files if needed by clicking “Add Folder” to choose an entire folder containing ICS files.
Step 3: Once the ICS file is loaded, It will display the list of all the selected ICS calendar files. Click on "Next" to continue.
Step 4: Next, mark the file from the list then preview and verify the contents of the ICS files before converting. After that move Next.
Step 5: Now, in the Save/Migrate/Backup As section, choose the file format, and from the list of available formats, select CSV as the desired output format.
Step 6: Apply Additional Filters For managing attachments, choose one of the following options.
- Remove Duplicate Emails: Select the option "Remove Duplicate ICS File Based on Subject, Start Date & End Date" to eliminate duplicate files.
- Save Attachment Separately: To store attachments in a separate folder.
- Save Without Attachments: To exclude attachments from the conversion process.
Step 7: Additionally, you can choose between two options: General CSV and Google CSV Format. Pick one to save the file in your desired format.
Step 8: Additional Filter Option, such as:
- Date Filtes: If necessary, you can filter the events based on date ranges or other criteria.
- Custom Folder Name: Define how the converted file should be named.
Step 9: Click on Destination Path and Choose the folder where you want to save the resultant CSV file.
Step 10: After selecting the output format and destination folder, click the "Convert" button to begin the conversion process.
