How to Use DRS Softech MS Access Recovery Tool: Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Download and Install the Tool
- Visit the official DRS Softech MS Access Recovery Tool page.
- Click Download Now to get the free demo version or Purchase Now for the full version.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- After installation, launch the software.
Tip: The software works on Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and earlier versions.
Step 2: Add Corrupted MDB or ACCDB Files
- Click the Open button on the main dashboard.
- Browse your system and select the corrupted Access database file(s).
- Click Next to proceed.
Note: You can select multiple files to recover more than one database at a time.
Step 3: Choose Recovery Mode

The tool offers two recovery modes:
- Standard Mode: Ideal for minor corruption or small databases.

Step 5: Choose Output Format and Saving Location

Click Save and select your preferred output format:
- ACCDB (latest MS Access format)
- MDB (older MS Access format)
- CSV (for flexible external use)
- Choose a location on your system to save the repaired database.
- Click OK to start the saving process.

Step 6: Complete the Recovery
- Wait until the recovery process finishes.
- A success message will appear, confirming that all selected items have been saved.
- Open the recovered file in MS Access to verify restored tables, records, and attachments.
