About Us
Doc Warner’s is a family-owned and operated fishing lodge in the Icy Strait area near Glacier Bay National Park.
Beginning in 1981 with a group of Explorer Scouts looking for a high adventure, Doc Warner’s has grown into a destination for families and friends to make memories together in the great outdoors, all while enjoying modern, comfortable accommodations.

Fishing
With some of the largest Salmon runs in Alaska and more liberal Halibut limits, self-guided fishing in the protected waters of Icy Strait allows you to plan your own schedule. Our boats are easy to operate and come with all the electronics to make your trip enjoyable
Wildlife
Humpback whales, Orca, Otter, Sea Lions, Bald Eagles, Ravens, Harbor Seals, Porpoise, Black Bear, Brown Bear, Moose, and Wolf are just some of the wildlife you may see while at Doc Warner’s. Be sure to bring a smart phone or camera to take home pictures of the spectacular scenery
Accommodations
Rustic but not primitive describes the facilities at Doc Warners. Every room is an ensuite with a private bathroom, comfortable beds, and hot shower. A hot breakfast and dinner and sandwich bar for a make-it-yourself lunch are also provided.
