A collaborative working project between Chiesi and Manchester University NHS Trust to support patients from deprived communities in Manchester who are at higher risk of post-transplant complications, through a personalised nurse-led clinic.
COMET
COMET is a collaborative working project between Chiesi and Wirral Primary Care Collaborative to ensure timely chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) diagnosis. The partnership focuses on preserving lung health and preventing further decline in patients identified through the Wirral Targeted Lung Health Check.


BREATHE
BREATHE is a collaborative working project between Chiesi and Fuller and Forbes Healthcare Group, dedicated to strengthening diagnostic infrastructure in primary care. This initiative aims to enhance diagnostic capabilities for patients who are awaiting a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) diagnosis. By expanding the capacity for spirometry and other diagnostics at the primary care level, we can reduce reliance on secondary care services and diagnostic hubs, empowering and upskilling primary care staff to provide more effective, timely care.
MISSION
MISSION is a collaborative working project between Chiesi and Health Innovation Manchester, launched to drive efficiencies and standardisation of annual reviews for people living with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).


Digital Peak Flow Meter Assisted Asthma Care Clinic (DAACC)
A collaborative working project between Chiesi and Bloomfield Medical Centre to review people struggling with symptoms of asthma. This project invited people into the clinic to provide them with a digital device called a digital peak flow meter to allow better monitoring and action to bring their ashtma under control.
This project is now complete.
Neonatology Technology Enabled Care (NTEC)
NTEC was a collaborative working project between Chiesi and the Academic Health Science Network Innovation Agency. The project used Technology Enabled Care (TEC), which refers to tools and technology that help to meet high standards of neonatal care.

Re-Hale
Re-Hale was a collaborative working project between Chiesi and NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board to implement an inhaler recycling scheme using local drop off points; encouraging people in the East Kent area to recycle their used or unwanted inhalers at a convenient location close to their home.
This project is now complete.
FRONTIER Hull
Collaborative working projects between Chiesi and Hull University Hospital to identify people in the Hull area at high risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and provide them with a one-stop, nurse-led clinic for diagnosing and managing their disease.


Take AIR
Chiesi created and funded a partnership with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Leicestershire and Rutland Local Pharmaceutical Committee to bring the first ever inhaler recycling scheme to allow people to recycle their empty, unwanted, or out-of-date inhalers through the post.
This project is now complete.
