An Illinois-based startup partnered with us to build an advanced online platform designed to monitor internet connectivity for both residential and business environments. The solution combines IoT-enabled hardware with a cloud-based SaaS platform to detect service interruptions, track performance issues, and notify users instantly. By connecting smart monitoring devices with an intuitive digital ecosystem, the platform helps users maintain reliable internet services while enabling proactive communication between customers and service providers.
Internet of Things
We designed and developed a complete ecosystem consisting of IoT monitoring devices, a SaaS platform, and a fully functional e-commerce website aligned with the client’s brand identity. The platform delivers a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile devices, allowing customers to purchase devices, manage subscriptions, and monitor connectivity performance from a centralized account dashboard.
We built device connectivity features that allow iNetDown hardware modules to continuously monitor internet and power availability. When service interruptions or performance issues occur, the system instantly notifies users and enables them to track outages and underperformance directly through their account portal.
Additionally, we enabled automated communication workflows that allow the platform to notify internet service providers from the customer’s perspective. This proactive reporting mechanism helps reduce downtime while giving users greater visibility and control over their connectivity health.
We collaborated closely with the client to bring the iNetDown vision to life by developing a scalable IoT solution designed to monitor internet and TV connectivity along with modem power supply status. Leveraging our expertise in BLE communication and connected device ecosystems, we engineered the iNetDown plug-in monitoring module to continuously communicate with centralized servers, enabling real-time detection of connectivity interruptions and service failures.
Our team built a reliable communication framework connecting iNetDown devices, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing applications. The monitoring module maintains constant communication with iNetDown servers, and any disruption in this communication chain automatically triggers alerts indicating potential internet outages or power failures. This approach ensured accurate monitoring, instant notifications, and dependable system performance for both residential and business users.
We also developed the iNetDown subscription-based SaaS platform integrated with a fully functional e-commerce system. Users can purchase iNetDown devices, activate services, manage subscriptions, and access historical availability reports directly through their accounts. Alongside this, we created a comprehensive admin system that provides detailed insights into user logins, activity logs, subscriptions, and purchases, enabling efficient platform management and scalable business operations.
The platform enables users to easily purchase and activate monitoring devices through the e-commerce website or retail channels and connect them to their personal accounts. Once activated, customers gain access to real-time availability reports, service performance insights, and automated alerts whenever connectivity disruptions affect their home or business operations.
Through the centralized portal, users can manage subscriptions, make online payments, edit contact details, and monitor service history, while administrators receive comprehensive reports covering user logins, activity logs, subscriptions, and purchases.
