Choosing the right treatment can feel overwhelming. With thousands of options available, it helps to understand the key factors that will guide you toward the safest and most effective care.
What substance are you struggling with?
Different substances affect the body and mind in unique ways, and the level of care you need can vary significantly. Understanding your specific substance use helps determine whether detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, or another approach is most appropriate.
What personal factors affect your treatment options?
Residential treatment can offer structure and distance from triggers, but it isn’t always practical. Your responsibilities, such as work, parenting, or transportation, play an important role in choosing a program that fits your life and supports long-term success.
What insurance do you have?
Insurance coverage can influence your treatment options. Depending on your plan, your insurer may cover part or 100% of the cost of rehab. Verifying your benefits early helps you understand what programs are accessible to you.

SUPE: Empowering Youth Through Evidence-Based Prevention Education
SUPE (Substance Use Prevention Education) is a nonprofit initiative sponsored by DRS, dedicated to providing reliable, experience-driven drug-prevention education to students of all ages. With more than 30,000 lessons delivered across the United States, Kenya, and Ivory Coast, our team works directly with schools and communities to give young people practical knowledge and the confidence to make informed, healthy decisions. We collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and law-enforcement professionals, offering them proven tools to communicate effectively about the risks of substance use. As our programs continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering accurate, age-appropriate guidance that supports the well-being and safety of children everywhere.
