Entering or clicking on a single tracking number will instantly show the tracking history and current status of the shipment. Using 2Ship’s Track All feature, you can instantly track all your non-delivered shipments with a single click.
We instantly update each shipments’ status and once delivered, calculate delivery performance. The date and time of delivery are visible as well as the name and signature on file if available from the carrier.
Customised Reporting
2Ship offers its users multiple ways to extract critical data for better decision making. From a host of standard reports, to a simple way for a user to create and save their own csv based reports, choosing from more than 200 unique fields. Reports can also be emailed, or sent via ftp to your nominated address automatically when the shipments are closed. Extensive filter options allow you to get specific when needed. Run reports to track spend by service, customer, user, project etc. Report on delivery performance by carrier and service.
One Address Book
Create shipments quickly and easily when using a single address book. This address book can be controlled at the admin level with global settings, so all users gain access to one, up to date address book. Users can be given rights to amend this data or restricted -as you see fit. Shippers can also quickly create addresses on the fly and save to the address book at a user level.

Address Validation
Correctly addressing your shipment is a fundamental part of delivery access. 2Ship offers our shippers the option of powering their address validation via Google’s API and verify their recipient address right there in the ship screen, with the convenience of one click. Alternatively start typing your address and watch as it’s completed from the provided list. If you are a large user we even offer you the option to bring your own address validation API.
Manage Your Cut-Off Time
Control the time at which each location cuts off its shipping for the day. This allows 2Ship to automatically use the locations’ next business date as the ship date when processing shipments after the cut off time. Cut off times also manage your mailrooms cut off time for requests that come in from employees for outbound shipments.
Aggregation Rules
Have you ever noticed how many shippers send multiple shipments to the same recipient address on a daily basis. Often wasting money and incurring additional shipment fees. 2Ship allows you to aggregate those orders right there in your order queue and even shows you how much you can save by aggregating the orders compared to sending them as multiple shipments. 2Ship also allows you to easily control the rules for that aggregation. You can quickly determine what fields must match in order to create the aggregation, whether that is an order number or part of, or all of the address details. What’s more if you decide you would like to undo the aggregation and send the shipment on its own, simply ungroup those orders with a click of a button. You give even manually highlights certain orders by say a project code and ask 2Ship to just aggregate those orders only. A flexible and powerful solution to reducing your shipping costs.

2Ship does not just rate service in real-time, it also scores each service in real-time based on 60 days of historical performance for the specific route in question. This Score is based on your own settings for the weight/importance of price vs on time performance. As a result, all services are ranked and sorted by score rather than just speed or price.

Order Management
Efficient shipping requires precise control of your orders. The 2Ship order queue allows the shippers to import their orders into the order queue and hold them there until they are ready to ship. Orders can be imported via a spreadsheet on a DIY basis, or automatically via ftp, or API for the most sophisticated option. Once in the queue the orders can be easily filtered by just about any field, for example by order number, project number, post code, receiver names etc. Beyond filtering you can even bulk update or change values in fields as well as aggregate orders and easily compare the cost profile of aggregation or sending separately. The order queue also offers the ability to scan and ship – just scan your order number and ship your order all in one click, partially ship large orders in installments and also highlight and ship orders in bulk printing all your labels in one quick operation. The 2Ship order queue is a powerful tool to provide complete control of your orders.

Consolidation is the process of combining multiple small shipments into a single, larger shipment to be transported internationally or across zones. This method optimizes shipping by reducing the number of shipments sent individually, thus lowering shipping costs, streamlining customs clearance, and accelerating transit times.

Virtual Carriers
Are you a sophisticated shipper that uses a carrier to linehaul a pallet of mixed cartons, or a trailer full of pallets into a local carrier’s depot so that the local carrier can complete the last mile delivery. Have you noticed that this is often the most cost effective way of delivering a large number of packages across state, or international borders? This type of shipping is often called bulk break shipping, or consolidation where you consolidate all shipments to a pallet or truck and then have a specialist last mile carrier finalize the delivery. While it’s a popular shipping model, it can be tricky to manage two different carriers for a multi leg delivery. This is where 2Ship’s cool feature, Virtual carrier comes in. In 2Ship we can configure a multi leg shipping process into a new Virtual carrier. That’s right, we generate a Virtual carrier within 2Ship that can automatically create one, two or three leg shipments. The label for the linehaul leg as well as the labels for each package that has to be delivered by the last mile carrier.
Item2Box Algorithms
We’ve all seen those inefficient deliveries where you receive one small item in a huge box and you wonder to yourself, how can a shipper afford to ship all that air!! With our built in Air2box algorithms, 2Ship can calculate the optimum way to pack your contents and which one of your standard boxes, or combinations of standard boxes to use to pack your contents. By calculating the optimum packing of your contents, 2Ship’s algorithms help you minimize the air in your packed boxes thereby reducing your transport, and packaging costs.
Multiple Order Import Methods
With 2Ship’s many integrations you have several options for importing orders into the 2Ship order queue. These include manually importing a csv file via the DIY file mapping tool, or importing a static excel or csv file via automated ftp process, or via the hold API and finally via your favorite integration like Shopify, Woo Commerce, Katana ERP or NetSuite etc. There are many and multiple ways to easily import your orders into 2Ship ready for processing and what’s more you can use multiple methods simultaneously and 2Ship will easily identify those different methods so you can view and manage those methodologies.
HAZMAT and DG
2Ship’s commodity table allows you to import all your critical Hazardous Material or Dangerous Goods info into 2Ship. By storing all your contents Hazardous data such as, but not limited to, class number, UN number, sub risk group, packaging type, product names, contact name and numbers you can automatically generate HAZMAT or Dangerous Goods Declarations and documentation and electronically submit HAZMAT and DG data automatically with your carrier for quick data validation and accurate transport cost estimates. If you find managing Hazardous products a hassle with your current system, then you will love the convenience of 2Ship’s comprehensive tools.
Add Your Own Fleet
If you do your own deliveries with your own drivers and vehicles… then 2Ship can create a private carrier for you in minutes. Drop Shipping
Drop shipping has become a popular method of shipping goods for many distributors and retailers. Drop shipping is the process of fulfilling and shipping orders to your customers by shipping products directly from a third party, such as your supplier, distributor or a warehouse. The advantage of drop shipping is that you don’t need to go to the considerable investment and expense of holding the stock and fulfilling the order from your own warehouse, just arrange for your third party to fulfill and ship the order on your behalf.
