WTCI’s Inside Series
Where WTCI and RMI members can get a peek at Maryland’s top global manufacturers and organizations that power our global supply chains.
Have you ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look at how things get made, moved, and brought to market?
The Inside Series offers exactly that. Participants get a VIP tour of a leading Mid-Atlantic company and hear directly from its leaders about the challenges, innovations, and opportunities shaping their operations. Each event goes beyond the factory floor — offering candid conversations with executives and operators about workforce development, global supply chains, technology adoption, and what it takes to compete in today’s economy.
The Inside Series pulls back the curtain on the full ecosystem that powers regional commerce, from precision manufacturers crafting world-class products, to logistics providers coordinating global supply chains, to distributors managing the transportation networks that keep goods moving worldwide. Whether on the factory floor or behind the scenes of a major distribution hub, each event connects our members to the real people and processes driving the Mid-Atlantic economy.
There are up to four events per year, all hosted by the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) and the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland (RMI). Attendance is limited, making each event an intimate and exclusive experience. Among the companies featured since the series began in 2007 are Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Saft Batteries, BD Diagnostic Solutions, Dunlop Boots, and McCormick.
