Guerrilla Gardening

The Black Flag Collective maintains a number of community gardens around Blacktown and Penrith. These areas not only provide edible goods for the neighborhood, but also gives a shared space for the community to meet and organise around.

 

Free School

There is so much knowledge among our communities so we organise regular free schools around the West where people can share their knowledge and discuss the issues that are pertinent to the West.

 

Free Stores

We run weekly food and clothing stores around the West between Parramatta and Penrith, we also distribute some free literature to anyone who wants it and we have a few books for sale at a discounted price.

Redfern Aboriginal Tent Embassy

Our collective keeps the watch over night at the Redfern Aboriginal Tent Embassy one night per week to ensure that the site is not vandalised or damaged. There are between 6-8 of us on any given shift, and if you would like to get on the roster please email us.
