There are so many words that I find there are no words!
Today has felt very long. My entire morning just turned upside down with odd requests and not getting charting done until I ended up charting eleven people one after the other after they had all left. That’s a lot of charting.
I did have a terrific visit with a friend who realized that what I say about there being no boundaries at work is complete truth! No room for error in that statement! We were going to go to Tim’s and I got an email at 10:30 to have me prepare a pick-up and I couldn’t leave because FedEx would be coming at some point for that.
Our chat also shed some further light on this job thing that added to the I’m not sure but her asking the right questions helped open my eyes beyond the excitement of the doctor.
Lastly, once again, the question of my future was asked and my answer was the same… I know what I don’t want but I also don’t know what I do want. Not a big help is it?
So I have been asked to teach three nights a week at the college this fall and… oh there’s something else… hmmm… what is it?
Oh yeah! I got an email from Lulu, my publisher that they are sending me a payment… my Hysterectomy is, apparently, selling copies in the UK! Only two but that was an exciting email to open! It’s not a ton since I’m making about $5/book but sometimes it’s the start that counts! Fingers crossed!
I didn’t get any editing done so I might grab that now for a very short session. I know that I can’t do everything all the time because I am human.
All in all, a very busy day and I’m extremely tired. I’m off for the weekend and hopefully I can get those last 80 pages edited and just spend some time… well, spend some time. Enjoy the weather, edit, enjoy the weather some more… You know what I haven’t done in a long time? I haven’t been to the park with my camera in over a year… maybe tomorrow would be a good day to do that. Or I could go visit the ponies… don’t tell my daughter I said that!
Until tomorrow.
