It has been quite the week with plenty of writing ups and downs.
I have managed to reach 27,000+ words and yet I seem to write 5,000 words one day and zero the next! I’m not exactly sure what causes that! Like I said a couple of posts ago, it seems that I want to vomit the story out of my brain but it has been alternating with no interest in it. I don’t know if that’s related to writing so much one day that I need to rest the next day or if it’s something entirely different.
So far I have been writing from the present and the past and have been telling the stories of the past characters in sections. I have no idea if it makes any sense yet. It feels right but I won’t truly get a feel for it until I’ve told the story and start to edit it.
I feel like I can’t go for much longer because I feel like the answer is right there. I feel like, at this point, readers would already know. Possibly something I can clear up in editing but I have to try to get the story out.
I might have wanted to vomit the story out but now I need to reel in the need to control the end before I get there. I need to remember to just continue to naturally tell the story that I have been trying to tell.
But here’s a question… my characters from 1947 just had a baby girl. Any name suggestions?
Lastly, I was trying to decide if, for the month of June, I wanted to make another attempt at blogging daily. I have only 24 hours left to decide if I’m going to do it or not! I thoroughly enjoyed the last time I did it which was probably about two years ago already.
You will have to watch tomorrow to see if a post goes up and what I have decided!
In the meantime, please feel free to give some baby girl names from 1947!
