About WriteHive

WriteHive

WriteHive is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping writers achieve their goals. We have a variety of events and programs dedicated towards that purpose. We are run 100% by a group of dedicated volunteers passionate about providing opportunities to the writing community that are normally inhibited by financial means.

Our Mission

WriteHive seeks to foster a safe, diverse community and provide free, inclusive events and resources for all writers, especially those from marginalized communities.

Our Vision

Everyone deserves a supportive and empowering literary community.

Our Founders

Jerusha René

co-founder/ceo

Jerusha (she/her) is a sci-fi and fantasy writer who lives in sunny California. She is the CEO for WriteHive. Her short story, Pandora's Attic, was published in the charity anthology Autumn Nights. She seeks to promote equality, healthy relationships, and environmentalism in her stories. Aside from writing, Jerusha is a blackbelt in karate and enjoys video games, water painting, and spending time with her puppy.

Dakota Rayne

co-founder/CFO

Dakota is a developmental editor, small business owner, and mental health professional. They grew up in a culture that valued oral storytelling and found families. In realizing they were a bit of a misfit in a misunderstood world, they dedicated their life to helping individuals tell their story, in hopes that we can learn and grow from each others' experiences. This led to them forming Inked in Gray Press, a small press dedicated to raw, authentic storytelling.

rowan zeoli

co-founder/coo

Rowan Zeoli is a developmental editor, ghostwriter, book coach, and activist. They firmly believe stories are what bring people together and are how we can imagine a new, better world. The more stories we have, the more voices we have telling those stories from their own unique perspective, the better off the world will be for it.
