Hi, I’m currently modifying my church’s website. The existing workflow is inefficient and the site’s layout and structure make it hard to find things. WordPress looks like a great solution which will make it easy to keep content updated regularly without having to change the code everytime.

This is my second project with WordPress and I’m currently creating a child theme from the default twenty ten theme. This blog is to note down the major steps I took to create this theme. Hopefully you find something which might be useful to you in the creation and customization of your own themes.

As the theme is completed, I’ve also started to try my hand at writing plugins. This page will also contain information about the plugins.
