Coursework
HACS100: CyberEdu PSA: Malware
The goal of the HACS100: Foundations in Cybersecurity I CyberEdu Project was to use what ACES students had been learning about cybersecurity to create educational material for the campus Department of IT to share with the student body at large. We were asked to choose a cybersecurity-related topic and create a game design or a video PSA. This project was done in collaboration with Immanuel Garcia, Maddie Bowcutt, and Stephan Loh.
HACS102: Honeypot Research: Correlation Between a Country’s Technological Development and Hacker Activity
For HACS102: Foundations in Cybersecurity II, students were assigned groups and required to conduct a honeypot research project. This included choosing the research question, setting up the honeypot and its resources, gathering data, maintaining the honeypots, analyzing results, and creating a final paper and presentation. This project was done in collaboration with Eric Hoffmann, Maxwell Newman, Tyler Richmond, Alexander Yu, and the staff of ACES.
