Orders seems to have stopped syncing and revenue is always 0 from campaigns which I’m sure they are not. How can I debug this?
    Thanks!

Hi @ben72 thanks for reaching out – First step to debugging is to enable the Remote Diagnostics feature found in the plugin’s Settings tab. This allows the Mailchimp for WooCommerce development team to diagnose and fix the issue remotely
Then drop your URL below – Make sure you have your debug logs on too. Once we hear back from you, we will do our best to help with this

    Thanks!

@ben72 Please do not use short links in these forums. Your link was expanded into the link field and cannot be seen by search engines in that field.

@moderator OK, cool! I didn’t know that field was not searchable by search engines. Thanks for your help!
@kjvextras See above (my original post) for the URL.

Hi @ben72 I did some digging and there are a few things for you to check out –

RE revenue and attributions – check out this help guide https://mailchimp.com/help/about-mailchimp-attribution/ – Your attributed conversion is set to last clicked … So, in order for it to port over, the person would have to CLICK on the email for the purchase to be attributed…

can you identify a customer who purchased and also clicked…if so, than thats our suspect

Let me know what you think

@kjvextras Thanks, I know how the attribution works. This has always worked in the past. But stopped working some time after Dec 18, 2024. I’m on a legacy free plan. Has this changed and is no longer working with my plan?

I’m certain some subscribers have clicked and bought. Do you need to know who or what do you mean? Can I send it to you privately in that case?

Hi Ben – yes. Please send some examples…

@kjvextras OK, I’ve sent four examples of subscribers that clicked a link and ordered but did not get attributed. Do you need more examples?
    Thanks,

Hi – I do – Do you mind trying this link?

    Hi @kjvextras

Hi, just checking — did you receive the examples I sent? If not, I can recreate them, but it’ll take some time to fetch the data again as I didn’t save it elsewhere.
Could you please clarify exactly what data you need so I don’t have to wait another week only to find out it was the wrong data?

Also, I wanted to mention that WooCommerce attributes the orders to the newsletter. Could you explain a bit more about how you plan to debug this and what you need the examples for?

    Thanks!

Hi @kjvextras! Would it be possible to speed things up? I’ve gotten no attribution or orders synced in Mailchimp for the last 4 campaigns. This always worked before. Can I email you my logs or how can we debug the issue?

Hi @ben72 While a take a look in our system to find something that may stick out – have you checked this out? https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/wiki/High-Performance-Queue-Runners

@kjvextras Thanks but this is not an intial sync and the site is not a high-taffic site. Please let me know what I can do to speed up the investigation.

Hi Ben, thanks for reaching out. I wanted to chime in since I’m part of the engineering team for the plugin. The Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin handles syncing order and customer data to Mailchimp, but revenue attribution and reporting are managed entirely within Mailchimp’s system.

Sorry to pass you off, but for questions about how revenue is tracked, calculated, or displayed, you’ll need to contact Mailchimp Support directly. They’ll be able to look into your account and provide the most accurate help.

If you run into any plugin syncing issues specifically, let us know and we’ll be happy to assist.

    Hi @khungate,

    Thank you for the suggestion!
I’ve reached out to them via email to ask. It’s possible they’ve removed order sync from free accounts — I’m currently on a legacy 2K subscriber plan but haven’t received any notification about changes.

But surely there must be a way to check if order sync works from the WooCommerce end?

    Thanks again for your help!

    Best,
