Hi Will,
Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.
Can you share the following with us:
- Your product feed URL
- The plugin debug.log URL so we can tell if your feed is actually refreshing/updating or not
Hi Will,
Thanks for this.
Your debug.log URL shows your feed is downloading multiple times a day so the updating process seems to be going fine. Since the feed it concerns is a CSV file make sure that when you download it locally that you are opening-up the correct CSV file and not the old one.
Hi,
I actually only set it to refresh hourly to try and get it to update – normally, I’d only set it refresh daily.
24 hours ago, I made a small change to one of my product prices so I could check if the feed was updating – it still hasn’t.
I also keep checking Affiliate Window, who collect my feed 3 times a day from the url provided, and the changes aren’t showing up there either.
(NB. I check Affiliate Window by downloading their feed – i.e. after they’ve processed mine.)
I’m not sure what to do now TBH – any further suggestions gratefully received!
Many thanks,
Will
Can you provide us with the product ID for which you have changed the price so we can check it in your feed?
Sure, its 6722
It was selling for Β£7.99 – I’ve changed it to Β£8.00
Thanks,
Will
Hi Will,
I noticed you are on an older version of our plugin:
[WooCommerce Product Feed PRO] => 2.0.0
Can you update the plugin to the latest version and see if that solves the issue at hand.
Hi,
OK, I’ve upgraded to version 3.7.0 and cleared browser / server caches etc, but the feed’ still not updating at Affiliate Window
Thanks,
Will
Hi Will,
The price in your feed also still shows 7.99 so it hasn’t updated.
Did you check your WooCommerce fatal error logs of the last couple of days to see if there is something in there that could explain why your feed doesn’t update? Search for errors related to maximum CPU/memory usage or execution time limits. This is where you can find those logs: https://woocommerce.com/document/finding-php-error-logs/
Hi,
I’ve checked the logs and there hasn’t been any errors since the middle of June π
Strangely enough, I made a change to the category field mapping last Friday – this became visible in Affiliate Window’s feed this morning.
However, the prices have not updated (I’ve also increased products 6723 & 6724 to Β£8.00)
Thanks,
Will
Hi Will,
Are you than perhaps using a 3th party plugin that does things to your product prices, such as a bulk or discount/sale plugin?
Hi,
No we don’t. In terms of pricing, it’s a straight forward WooCommerce setup.
Interestingly, I’ve just checked the Affiliate Window feed and it now seems to have caught up.
Whether that’s just a random update or a caching issue, I’ve no idea – I’m afraid I’m not that technical π
I’ve now reset my ‘test’ prices and will see how long (or if) they update.
Many thanks,
Will
Perfect, good to hear it was solved.
Hi,
24 hrs in and the prices still haven’t updated on the Affiliate Window feed. I’ll check again tomorrow.
There has to be be some ‘trigger’ controlling the random nature of these updates? I’m running out of ideas TBH
Hi,
I just checked Affiliate Window Feed – still no update.
(I flushed the server cache a couple of days, just in case, but that obviously hasn’t made any difference)
Is there anyway I can force an update?
Many thanks,
Will
