This two-day conference, taking place April 23–24, 2026, will gather experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to share insights, discuss advancements and explore innovative approaches in wildlife fertility management. As human populations expand, conflicts between humans and wildlife increase. Traditional efforts to resolve these conflicts rely on lethal control. However, public opposition. Mission

The Botstiber Institute for Wildlife Fertility Control is a hub established to advance reproductive management as part of an integrated approach to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts worldwide through education, outreach, and engagement.

BIWFC will continue to serve as a trusted resource for impartial and evidence-based expertise, driving implementation of wildlife fertility control as a management tool where appropriate.

BIWFC Europe

The BIWFC Europe office carries out the Institute’s general mission, purpose and goals focusing on promoting fertility control through knowledge exchange and stakeholder and public engagement. The center serves as a catalyst for the activities of the BIWFC Headquarters and offers a fulcrum from which many initiatives can be carried out.
