12:28 am - Speechless I feel like I've travelled back in time...
Just got home from spending an incredible evening with the National Arts Centre Orchestra performing The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring in concert, and my god I'm in love with the film and cast and crew and most especially Howard Shore all over again. Feels just like those heady days back in December 2001.
What a fabulous way to celebrate alchemie's birthday - especially considering it was the film and fandom (with a gentle nudge from gentlehobbit) who brought us together!
P.S. Already planning to play hooky the day The Hobbit opens. :)
01:23 am - A day late and much more than a dollar short I'm sorry to have been so absent lately. The last few months have gone by in a fog, and I think I managed to get only Christmas card out this year. There's no reason for it, but I've been in a terrible funk, hiding from the world, and just generally feeling rather unhappy - the result being that I've neglected the very people I should be spending more time with.
