I have been doing Pilates since moving in April, and I love it! It can be quite difficult and I'm the only one in the classes GRUNTING my ass off. When I went to other kinds of classes at the gym, there was loud music to cover the grunts. I guess I'm not a delicate flower. How embarrassing.

In other news, I can't remember if I saw Mockingjay part 1! I guess I'll have to watch /rewatch before I see part 2. 🤔

I am trying to read book 2 of Game of Thrones...it's slow going. It doesnt help that it has been at least 7 years since I read the first one and couldn't make it through the first season of the HBO series. Martin is very cruel to animals--and everybody really--in these books, which makes it tough bedtime reading.

I need to read more! What was your favorite book this year?

I adopted a kitty! Saved from a hoarder in West Virginia, Baxter is 3 and I am hoping he and my old cat Boudu will be chums. Boudu has been so lonely since we lost Violet. I'm not sure he is totally on board yet...he keeps looking at me like WTF? Baxter however is completely at home:

Did you know I work at a winery on Fridays? Did you know that when the weather is bad (cold, rain/sleet, etc.) no one comes to the winery? And yet I must stay until the appointed time. I have cleaned everything in site and I'm not allowed to drink on the job.
