Canon update:

Bit (not the Navi-bits from Tron: Evolution) shows up in Tron: Evolution – Battle Grids (different game than Tron: Evolution) in the tutorial levels (chilling out with Tron).

And here we learn that Bit can actually hack things and open locked doors (kind of like the byte from Tron 2.0). Bit can't however open doors that need a special grid-key, so it isn't some super OP hacking god.

It is still just a little binary digit. 

Notes:
- “The Grid” is a digital world where Bit comes from. It is inside a computer.
- “Programs” are people shaped and also live inside these computers
