Offer Multiple Means of Representation

To offer multiple means of representation, provide information in multiple formats to support the different ways that students process and comprehend information.

  • Make text available in a variety of formats: e-Text reader, audio, visual presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, Haiku Deck)
  • Offer a variety of media to access information (text, images, video)
  • Provide multiple visual and physical examples of information (interactive mobile apps or webpages)

Videos/Films

Our media collection includes streaming media and physical DVDs presenting concepts via video.  Most of these videos are closed-captioned or contain transcripts so students can choose to listen to the audio or read the information.  We also have some videos with multiple language options.
