FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How accurate is your initial estimate compared to the final cost?

We pride ourselves in providing the most accurate estimate possible with allotments that are reasonable to what the customers likes and styles are. We also add tremendous detail to our estimates. We have a proprietary bidding system that breaks down a remodel into great detail.

If customers do not change the scope or add to it, and if we do not run into unforeseen issues, we can rely on the contract price to be very accurate.

We aim to complete projects efficiently while minimizing disruption. That said, each project differs in length of time. For example, an average full kitchen removal and redo is generally between 8-10 weeks. We have a full time Project Manager and Project Coordinator who study each project before scheduling, so when it is scheduled everything lines up as perfectly as can be.

Unexpected delays can happen, but our extra team members (“floaters”) help manage setbacks. We also take steps to maintain your home’s functionality, such as reinstalling toilets during bathroom remodels. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible for you.

Our process begins with an in-home consultation where we discuss your project, take detailed notes, measurements, and photos. Depending on the scope, we may involve a designer to create an initial design, helping you visualize the project and allowing us to provide an accurate estimate.

We encourage you to visit our showroom to meet our team and review your estimate. Once the contract is signed and the down payment is received, our designers take over. They schedule a follow-up home visit and guide you through the design and selection process—most of which can be done in our showroom. Our experienced designers are among the best in the remodeling industry.

After finalizing the design, the project moves into scheduling and production, ensuring a smooth transition from planning to execution.

Change orders sometimes happen so we strive to keep them simple and transparent. There are no additional fees—only the cost of extra work or materials. Most often, change orders occur when customers add to their project or when unexpected issues arise, such as water damage, insufficient insulation, or outdated electrical work.

We use a project management system that keeps everyone connected in one place, allowing customers to track progress remotely. This system is also used to send and approve change orders in real time. If something is removed from the original scope of work, a credit change order is issued accordingly.

We handle everything down to the last detail, making the process as seamless and stress-free as possible. Most of the work is done by our in-house team, but we do use trusted subcontractors for specialized tasks like electrical, plumbing, and plastering. We’ve built long-standing relationships with them, and they are an extension of our team, ensuring quality work at every stage of your project.

Yes, we are fully insured and licensed.

Yes, we offer a one-year warranty on all materials and labor. However, if an issue is related to workmanship, we often consider going beyond that. During the design process, we carefully recommend products we trust for their durability and long-term performance. We pride ourselves in using products that will withstand frequent use over time.

Our schedule tends to fill up quickly, so typically we recommend booking 4-6 months in advance from contract signing to the start of work. However, we are happy to accommodate special requests, such as coordinating your project to align with an extended vacation during construction, to ensure a smooth experience.
