ViscoRoute is a pavement analysis application designed to model the viscoelastic response of asphalt layers subjected to moving wheel loads. It represents temperature- and speed-dependent behavior using established rheological models, enabling realistic predictions of stresses, strains, and surface deflections in multilayer pavement structures. Users can configure single to multi-axle loading (including dual, tandem, and tridem setups), specify contact shapes and pressure distributions, and evaluate responses in a moving reference frame. Typical outputs include time histories, isovalue maps, and cross-section plots that support fatigue and rutting assessments, material comparisons, and structural optimization. ViscoRoute is well suited for both research and engineering practice, helping practitioners explore the influence of traffic speed, wander, and temperature on pavement performance and to design more durable asphalt systems.
ViscoRoute is developed by LCPC - ENPC. The most popular version of this product among our users is 2.0. The name of the program executable file is wxViscoroute.exe.
