Just wanted to share part of a discussion I’m having with an old friend on my Facebook page regarding lost jobs and the juggling of “available jobs” which goes on in DC and the way those who are setting up small and home based businesses are  not mentioned in media but may be saving the economy:

People who lost those jobs or just got sick of the run around you get with some employers are the ones who opened businesses that are really keeping the economy – if not going – from totally tanking. Not just due to the taxes they pay but by all the stuff they must purchase and therefore keep all the Office Max’s and Price Club (Do they still exist?) solvent.  It makes me laugh how the big three – Limbaugh, Beck, and Hannity are pushing that work at home deal which is really just Herbalife, an extremely successful company and then ignore the fact of the new home and small ( and there is a difference) that are being opened every week if not every day! And as a Very Small Business owner and the friend of quite a few: You better hope and pray I don’t  have ANYTHING to do with building of roads and bridges. Lives would be lost! That is why I and my friends pay start up costs, taxes, and licenses.
