Thinking of you, wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward to realize this wish.
And who knows: starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it has already begun.
There are many worlds, and they share the same sky.
One sky - One destiny.
Comment and maybe I will add you as a friend~

I am so ready for this game you guys have no idea. I have been playing the first one almost every night with my husband for weeks. Seriously, we played it so much we maxed out our characters (but then we couldn't face Crawmerax because he's a dickface).
Borderlands 2 is going to rock my face off, I already know.

I spend most of my days at work goofing off on the computer. Honestly, I don't understand why they pay full time staff to do this little work, when our busiest days are Mondays and Fridays. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful to have a job with decent pay and benefits. But I wish I could get all my work done for the day and go home to do something more productive. I could be doing laundry, I could be cleaning my bathroom, or I could simply just read a book, but can't because I'm stuck here. You might tell me to just bring my book to work, but that gets me in trouble. I'd read e-books if my phone wouldn't have a heartattack and die (or if I had a tablet). I've read so much fanfiction in the last two weeks, but there's hardly anything good out there.
I have most of my supplies for my latest cosplay project. I'm missing the stuff for the vest. I just... forgot to buy anything for it. I guess I can just get it when I get the rest of my little supplies, like the beads and hair clips. I hope my little brother likes it. I'm just going to surprise him next weekend. And then I have another cosplay in my collection!
Maybe I'll spend the next two hours writing my own fanfiction. I haven't done that in a while.

I never thought that I would cosplay a pokemon character. But this is it.

Dawn from the Diamond and Pearl series. My little brother is having a Pokemon themed birthday party, and when I asked him what his favorite character is (aside from Ash, obviously), this is who he said. I thought it would be really cute to show up to his birthday dressed as her. I'm having the hardest time finding a skirt. I don't mind that it won't be perfect since it's a costume to show up at a 9 year old's birthday. But I literally can't find any pink skirts. And I really don't want to make it, but I might end up having to.
Also, the only place I can find a blue wig in town is an adult store. The thought of cosplaying a ten year old with a wig from an adult store is really funny to me.
Other than cosplay fun times, life has been relatively great. You know, aside from the eviction in which I had to move all of my stuff in four days, with little time to contact the court to explain. But we're all settled back in his parents' basement, and Cameron is home, so all is well. Aside from work. Work is incredibly boring. I get to spend the next hour and a half pretending I have actual work to do when, in reality, I'm reading or writing or posting on forums. While these things are fun, I'd rather be doing ANYTHING ELSE.

I'm guilty of eating at Chick-fil-a. I'm guilty of eating there in the past few months. But with all this controversy surrounding it, and everyone talking about it, I feel the need to voice my opinion. Take it as you will, but I'm not very confident when it comes to speaking out in public or protesting or what have you, but I'm going to use this entry as a chance to voice my thoughts.
I believe in the right to express one's opinion. Depending on what you say, there could be definite backlash for it. I'm not judging Chick-fil-a for their views or their right to express those views. What I have a serious problem with is the fact that they have donated over $5 Million to anti-gay groups in order to restrict people of their constitutional rights. That is what is wrong, and that is why I refuse to spend any more of my money there.
Maybe I was hoping that Bloomington was a bit more open minded. Maybe I was hoping that not a lot of people would show up yesterday to support them. But I was wrong, and all it does is show me that all anyone cares about in this presidential race is homosexuality. There are so many other issues in this country, but people don't support or care about those things. Our school system is falling apart at the seams but no, you'd rather spend your money on fatty foods to support a business that would rather see people suffer than advance our country on things that actually matter.
What this country needs more than anything is a stern slap in the face and some education on topics that matter and are important to the advancement of this nation. I'm tired of seeing the media filled with hate and ignorance and bigotry. Step off and go focus on something else. Or donate to a cause that is actually worth while.

I know, I said I wasn't going to post for a little while, but I'm at work with LITERALLY NOTHING TO DO. There's something about KH3D that I just realized. And maybe I knew it was going to happen, or understood that was going to happen. But it's still shocking all the same.
It's not really a spoiler since it doesn't involve the story so much as the way the game plays, but I'll put it under a spoiler link anyways.
[In regards to KH3D...]
I have played a total of 4 KH games now that don't involve Donald and Goofy as party characters. Granted, two of those games didn't have Sora as the main character, but still. I knew ahead of time that KH3D was incorporating a new twist on the fighting system that most of the handheld games have had (as in, incorporating all of the of the buttons instead of two). And I knew a brief rundown of the Dream Eaters, but I had no idea that they would make it THIS interactive. It really feels like NintendoDogs and Pokemon got together and had a baby, and that baby is the Dream Eaters.
Despite all of this, I really like how well the "link" ability works with the Dream Eaters. I love how they played off of Sora and Riku's capabilities (Sora fights with them and Riku takes their powers). I love the free-flow system. Interacting with the environment and enemies is really entertaining, though I'm not a big fan of switching between combat and stylus attacks. That part is kind of clunky for me, but maybe I'll get used to it the more I play.
I really didn't like the game at first. Switching between Riku and Sora in the middle of shit is really frustrating at times. especially when the switch happens in the middle of a story based combat (because then when it switches back you have to start all over). I'm glad they added the Drop-Me-Not items, but I haven't had a chance to use them because I really don't want to use up my attack slots for that.
I will be without kid and husband this weekend, so I'll be able to play KH3D until my fingers fall off. Cam will also be gone for two weeks with the National Guard. They are doing this thing called AT (I don't know what it stands for). But while he's gone I have to pack to move out. We have court for our eviction tomorrow, and we're going to be moving back in with his parents for the time being. It sucks, but at least we have somewhere to go. I just wish the complex would have worked with us like they said they would.

If I drop off the face of the earth for a week or so, it's because I'm busy with all of my free time playing KH3D!!! It's finally out today!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!
I'm about ready to take my lunch break to pick up my copy of the game, but that leaves me with four dreadful hours of waiting to play, maybe even longer since Madeline is with us tonight. I can't deny a two year old just because I want to play a game, but dammit, I want to play it so bad it hurts.
Seriously. I have been DYING for this game for over a year now. I have a 3DS, thankfully, and I hope that the game is good. I've heard great things about it.
So, I take my leave. So long! I will see you guys on the other side~~~

I beat Birth By Sleep last night. And while I enjoyed playing new characters with new techniques, there is one thing that really irks me. And maybe it's because there are still things to unlock, but I feel like it ends without clarifying WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM. I'll put the rest under a cut so I don't spoil anything for anyone.
[SPOILERS FOR BBS.]
So, I played the characters in order, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. I understand that Terra is basically taken over by Xehanort because Xehanort's body had grown old. It then makes sense why in KH1, Ansem tried to take over Riku's body. Obviously, a younger body is better for his line of work, and it makes even more sense that it's Riku since Terra passed "the power" of the Keyblade to him.
Ventus makes more sense after beating Aqua's story, I understand that his heart is in limbo, but what happens when he wakes up? Where does that story go? And what does Aqua do? If she's still alive, are we going to see her in KH3D, or KH3?
I wonder about these things, especially after only seeing one of the Organization turned Nobody. I fought "Braig" but I know it was really Xigbar. What happens to the rest of them? I really want to know their story. KH 358/2 Days didn't explain anything before the Organization was formed.
Also, WHY DOES VANITAS LOOK LIKE DARK SORA???????
I guess the creators just wanted to tie things in to the original games, but shit. I get that they were like "Well, Sora was separated from his heart and created Roxas, so if we make Ventus look like Roxas, then when darkness is pulled from his heart, that character would obviously look like Sora." And maybe when Ven's heart was put in limbo, it traveled to Sora's since apparently that's where all separated hearts go (looking at you, Kairi...). Also, I didn't realize it was Haley Joel Osment as the voice until towards the end of Ven's story when he took off his mask. I was like "HOLY SHIT BALLS SORA!" Cameron laughed at me.
Speaking of the original three, there were two ADORABLE scenes. One with little Kairi, and one with Sora and Riku. Oh my gosh it was TOO CUTE!!!!
Anyway, my goal now is to 100% complete the game. The more trophies I unlock, the more videos I get to see. So... yeah.

I had to walk in the parade yesterday for the county Democrats wearing a kind of unattractive Cathy Smith for Treasurer (though I did try to make it as attractive as I could). I swear, I sweat through my clothes three times over. The air was muggy and stagnant, so there was no way to really cool down. And the kids were so rude! I would give them candy and then they would be all, "I want that other kind," or they would try to grab a handful out of my bucket. One kid tried to run out in the street when I dropped something, so I tried to corral him the best that I could.
Later on Cam and I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man, and it was FANTASTIC. I would go see it again. Spoiler: Emma Stone is SO HOT as Gwen Stacy.
And then we did something we haven't done in FOREVER. We played video games for six or seven hours. I took a nap for about an hour and a half of it, but I got through Terra's story in BBS, and halfway through Radiant Garden in Ven's story (which is four and a half worlds). I really want to beat it before KH3D comes out but I also want to play Lollipop Chainsaw. Decisions, decisions. Hah! Side note: really getting confused with Ventus, because I keep accidentally calling him Roxas when I talk out loud about him.
A good friend of mine,
pinkplaidprose texted me last night these words: "Dante or Yoko Kurama?" And I about died trying to pick. I think we are going to do DMC cosplays, which would be amazing! As long as I don't have to cosplay Virgil, I'm good. I might pick a chick from one of the games, but I really want to do one of the guys. I'm not really chesty enough for the girl characters. But we haven't OFFICIALLY decided what to do yet as Youmacon is several months away. We should decide soon, though~
