Veteran Benefits Guide has been proud to serve our nation’s service members for more than 10 years. Founded as a humble initiative out of U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Josh Smith’s garage, VBG assists Veterans through the challenging VA claims process to secure their hard-earned benefits.

While working as a rater for the VA, Josh was thoroughly trained in its disability compensation system and witnessed firsthand major flaws in the disability evaluation process. To address them, he developed a more efficient process for Veterans to obtain the benefits they deserve.

Now operating with more than 225 team members nationwide, VBG has guided over 55,000 Veterans through the VA claims process, frequently leading to higher compensation for their service-connected disabilities.

Ten years in, the company’s dedication to honoring service and empowering the Veteran community remains steadfast. This commitment drives VBG’s purpose and mission.
