1. Is it mandatory for us to be present in person throughout the entire duration of the designathon (November 8-9)?

You must be present for registration on November 8th (10AM) and the award ceremony on November 9th (4PM).

2. Will accommodation be provided for the night of November 8th?

No, accommodation will not be provided on the night of November 8th. Please plan accordingly.

3. Do all team members need to be physically present for the full duration, or is partial attendance allowed?

All team members must be present for registration. Other team members can claim prizes on behalf of absent team members at the award ceremony, though we encourage everyone to be present.

4. Are we allowed to step out during the event and rejoin later?

Yes, you may step out and rejoin later. Please keep in mind the timings the venue will be open and important events such as the award ceremony. We will be hosting workshops during the event, which we encourage you to attend.

5. I’m not an NYU attendee - how can I access the building?

Bring a valid government ID and enter during the designated times listed in the onboarding document, with UX Club members stationed at the entrance to assist. For access outside these times, please contact us at ux-club@itp.nyu.edu or through the #questions channel on our Discord server.
