Course Adoption
Examination Copy Policy
The University of Tennessee Press is happy to offer digital PDF examination copies of our titles, free of charge, to instructors considering a book for classroom adoption. Please contact [email protected] from your .edu email address to request a PDF exam copy.
Paperback exam copies may also be requested by instructors. Please send requests to [email protected] from your .edu email address and include the following information: title and author, course title and number, expected enrollment, semester the course will be taught, instructor’s name, and name and address of the institution.
If the book is adopted as a text and an order is received for ten or more copies within ninety days, it may be kept as a free desk copy. If it is not adopted, the book may be purchased at a 20 percent discount or returned in saleable condition, without obligation, within the ninety-day period. Books will be sent to the school address only. Please allow four to six weeks for delivery.

Desk Copy Policy
Desk copies can be sent to instructors who have placed an order for ten or more copies with a bookstore. Please send the following information to [email protected]: title and author, course title and number, name of bookstore where order was placed, and name and shipping address of instructor.
