x10 URL™ is operated by x10 URL Shortening Services, a virtual non-profit organization operating in the Philippines.- Acceptance of Privacy Policy By accessing or using our Link Shortening Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these policies, you cannot use the service that this site offers.
- What data do we collect? We prioritize user privacy and only collect the original URLs entered by our users. No personal information such as IP Addresses, browser data, user fingerprints, or advertisement data is collected. x10 URL Shortening Services proudly avoids the use of tracking scripts and analytic services.
- How do we collect your data? We solely collect the original URL inputted by our end-users on this site.
- How will we use your data? The original URL is collected solely for the purpose of generating a shortened link. This information is essential for creating functional shortened links.
- How do we store your data? The original URL and the generated shortened link are stored in a non-encrypted XML file, which is not publicly accessible.
- Marketing We do not utilize any user data for marketing purposes, aligning with our commitment to be privacy-friendly.
- Data Sharing We do not share user data with any third parties. The only data collected, the original URL, is stored in the urls.xml file on our hosting provider's server (x10 Free Hosting), with no backups.
- Data Security We ensure the security of your original URL data by storing it in the urls.xml file. To enhance security, we've implemented a patch that restricts access to the server alone. This means that the data is only accessible by the server and remains protected from public access. As of the moment, encryption in the urls.xml file is unnecessary because these are just bare URLs which are publicly accessible and there is no benefit that we can get by encrypting them but rather it might just slow down the service.
- Data Retention The original URL inputted by our end-users is retained indefinitely unless there is a legal reason for removal or in the event of data loss on our hosting provider's server.
- Dealing with Your Data Requests for original URL deletion or changes are usually not performed unless there is a legal reason. Contact us at communications@url.x10.bz for such requests, understanding that processing may take a very long time (or can be never) due to our volunteer-only, non-monitoring administrator.

- The use of CDN As of May 28, 2024, we started to use the Free CDN service of Cloudinary to provide a better experience to our users. With that, Cloudinary's Privacy Policy now applies to this site. Their privacy policy is located at https://cloudinary.com/privacy
