Release/2026.025

  • Email and mobile phone number entry improved. You can enter emails and/or mobile phone numbers many places in the system. When you enter the items manually for a multi-value entry, then you need to tell the system that you have entered the complete email or mobile phone number. This requires a ‘Enter’ or a ‘;’ when you are done. We have made the help clearer and to be shown when the entry is valid and you need to finish the current item. Additionally, we have fixed an error where you could press ‘Send’ when the last item was invalid or not entered completely.
  • Dashboard: The filter options for user status has changed. Instead of being two options ‘Include inactive’ and ‘Include deleted’ it is now a selector of the different user status values you want to see. The default value is two show all above Inactive.
  • Invitations with expiry: The expiry was not set on the invite, when the person was invited in two steps, first added and the invited. This is now fixed so the expiration is set correctly on the invites of all types (cohort, channel, and account).
  • Request Access Report: The actions to Accept or Reject are always visible. The actions are inactive until one or more rows are selected.
  • Automatic logout: You can now set the system so users are logged out automatically after a certain amount of time. The setting is available in Configuration -> System -> Automatic logout. Here you enable/disable the automatic logout. When enabled you set the number of minutes of inactivity for automatic logout. It is possible to exclude admins from automatic logout. The systems stored a log event when a user is automatically logged out.

  • Design: Emails are now sent with actions/CTA that corresponds to your primary colors on your platform. This encreased the brand coherence and helps users understand that the email is from you and your company.
  • Certificate design: The certificate handles long account names better as we cut after 40 characters instead of showing all from your Account Settings.
  • Data Import via spreadsheet or Planday (htttps://www.planday.com) now always updates existing users’ fields even when the imported value is empty. Previously the update of the the user’s fields were skipped if the new value was empty. It is now possible to reset some of these value via a file import.
  • Directory and Channel default sorting: The default sorting is changed to ‘By name, ascending’ which is more relevant than the previous (by views, descending).
  • Main menu: sub-menu items are also in black instead of the subdued color.
  • Kaltura (https://www.kaltura.com ) is a new standard integration. This way you can get existing videos into your uQualio platform. The integration is a level 1 integration so the original video is copied to uQualio.
  • Vixy Video (https://www.vixyvideo.com ) is a new standard integration. This way you can get existing videos into your uQualio platform. The integration is a level 1 integration so the original video is copied to uQualio.
  • PostHog implementation updated. Each environment logs data to a separate PostHog project to prevent data polution and to enable data separation. Authenticated users are tracked with id, account name, and account status in PostHog.
  • TwentyThree (https://www.twentythree.com ) as video backend in internal test for video hosting, transcoding, and delivery.

  • Certificates for anonymous are now shown with the text ‘Achieved by Anonymous’. This looks better and we still have the ID in the certificate to track back for validation even when we cannot match with a user account.
  • Certificates show last name when not first name exists. Previously it was Username or part of the email. Other smaller adjustments to the text in both certificate page and PDF download made.
  • Dashboard filter widgets are now shown according to report context. This should make the filters relevant for each report.
  • Main menu font is now consistently black and not the faded font.
  • AI Configuration: Topic Summary is renamed to Topic Description to match system terminology.
  • Account activation email text updated with clearer action for the new admin.
  • Content Editor: Preview button is shown as active also when there are not topics.
  • TwentyThree is now available as video back for internal testing. The implementation will continue depending on findings from internal use.
  • Onboarding Steps: They are now synced to HubSpot with start and end time. Start time is when the step is set in progress. End time is when the step is finalized and completed.

  • AI Generation settings are changed to off by default, except for video transcription. The feedback from our customers is that the transcript is so central to all AI generation, that it is always reviewed and update before e.g. questions and summaries are made. The automatic generation means that it must be deleted or replaced every time.
  • My Account, Referral page: the layout is updated.
  • Request Access: When the user requested a password reset they were not moved to the login page.
  • Video providers for uQualio video backend is made general. The next backend to integrate is TwentyThree (https://twentythree.com ) so we can use their video processing and delivery features for uQualio. The current state is being moved to our Staging and Production environment to ensure that no side-effects are made in the implementation.

  • Email links improved due to changed in Microsoft Outlook for Web changes. In many cases users cannot see links in the emails sent from your uQualio platform. This is mainly seen on Microsoft Outlook for Web and Outlook for MacOS. The link is simply hidden due to changed security default settings. We have change the mail layout to have a large button to click with the link (CTA style). Below the link we alway state ‘if you cannot see the link, then please copy this link into your browser’. This means that users will know how to access the training etc. The initial layout is made using uQualio branding colors. In the next release we will change so the button will be in your branding as set in Configuration -> Design -> Button colors.

  • Certificate page – mobile view improved. We have move ‘Train again’ and ‘certificate’ so it does not overlap.
  • User details: You can now go from user details to the user’s home page. We have added a link below the dialog title.
  • Onboarding: When Account Settings close you go to Design and the systme shows Design help.
  • QA: Internal tool added for code layout quality improvement.

  • Main menu is updated to a more modern layout. Icons and texts are shown on one line for easier read and better responsive behaviout. You can collapse/expand the menu to show as icons or icons+text.
  • Transcript Editor: When you make changes to the transcript you normally want to update the subtitles. The system helps you by high-ligthing the action ‘Set subtitles’.
  • Dashboard: Help texts added to the filter widgets.
  • AI Text-to-Speech: Text-to-Speech icons are moved to the end of questions and answers for Quiz Runner and Test Runner.
  • Request Access: The user will see a better message when the request is submitted.
  • Copy link text made more readable. Previously the font could be very hard to read on some displays. The font has been made clearer to make the code stand out.
  • Directory layout updated for smaller screens. On some screens the text was shown compressed.
  • Users: Report ‘Users in Users List’ moved to page ‘User lists’ and not shown as separate report.
  • Date controls, UX improvement: In some cases you could set the date for e.g., expiry, to a future date and then click on Save/Next on the parent dialog. This meant that the day was NOT set as expected. We have changed the date control so you cannot click on other fields until the date control change is saved or cancelled.
  • Vixy Video (https://www.vixyvideo.com/ ) integration is now available in the first version for general use. You can load the videos from your Vixy video instance. Currently we only show the first items. It will be added that all videos can be listed or searched. The two secret configuration fields are now shown as password fields with display option.
  • UX consistency update: We have change the ‘+’ from a text to a ‘+’ icon.
  • My Account: Affilliate/referral overview are being added again. The first updates are now available and will be prepare in the coming releases.

  • uQualio admin backend works with most browsers, but is tested with Google Chrome. When you open with another browser you are warned. The warning is moved to the center of the screen as a floating text message instead of being in the main menu.
  • Vixy Video integration: It is possible to configure the integration to Vixy Video (https://www.vixyvideo.com/ ). You can enter the credentials for the API and test the connection. Import of videos are coming in one of the next releases.
  • Topics: partly changed to have a video provider information on topics, but the current implementation is not build for maintenance so only updated for Vimeo and YouTube video links.
  • uQualio AI Support Agent updates. The answers now include links to the full tutorial or the specific topic video.

  • Edit images: We have added transformations to the image editor. You can now drop, resize and rotate the image you edit. This gives you additional help when you adapt the image to your specific design.
  • Column chooser is Reports is renamed to ‘Select columns’ as this is the action you do.
  • Reports ‘Pending Invites’ and ‘User Invites’ are updated. The ‘User Status’ columns is no longer a system default column. The user feedback is that having both ‘Invite Status’ and ‘User Status’ in the reports is confusing as the invite’s status is the main focus of the report. ‘User Status’ reduces focus.
  • Improved error handling in case the user has network problems or the user’s session has expired.

  • ‘User Feedback’ report is renamed to ‘Feedback’ and is moved from Users menu to Reports menu.
  • Users: When you change the users’ status you see a spinner while the system changes the users. Previously the system was unresponsive while the users were updated.
  • Multi-assign: We have updated the actions for courses and cohorts to make it clearer that in the first case we create new cohorts as part of the task and in the second case you assign users to existing cohorts. After the tasks finish you get a small notification that the process completed successfully.
  • Application frontend is upgraded to Angular v.18. The upgrade should give improved performance in the application. We also build uQualio faster as an extra benefit.

  • Course Manager: Send message actions are now all named ‘Send…’.
  • Text/SMS notifications can now be sent when the subject is not set. Previously the subject was required even when your notification was sent by text/SMS only.
  • AI chat assistant, internal PoC with RAG based on the complete video content including transcripts, text, titles, and questions. Only available in Development (excl. test accounts).
  • Minor improvements and fixes.

  • Application links in emails and text messages are changed from a long Guid type to a short link code. The links is made shorter to have only 6 characters instead of 32. This is part of reducing link length and add more text to SMS messages.
  • Dashboard is made easier to read as the default values are displayed in the filter. You know see ‘All channels’, ‘All content’, etc. when no selection has been made.
  • AI Content Generation is updated to use all content on generation. This now includes all questions with the correct answers. This means that generated texts and questions are made with better understanding of the course’s content and purpose.
  • Frontend development platform upgraded to newer Angular version.
  • Security: Content Security Policies updated.
  • Security: User link security improved.
  • Rate limiting: The legacy rate limiting headers are removed from the response headers. We only supply the ‘X-RateLimit-…’ headers.

  • Directory cover page is now configured in Design. All the design elements are now collected in Configuration -> Design -> Directory cover page for a better admin configuration experience.
  • Course Page: Transcript display is improved for responsive use. In some cases the transcript was partly shown outside of the screen’s viewable area.
  • Design: The ‘reset color’ actions are changed to secondary style. They are not primary actions.
  • Security: Integration settings containing sensitive information are now encrypted and decrypted to prevent user access through e.g. Developer tools to see request and response values.
  • Integrations: User texts and messages improved.
  • Dashboard filters: Preparing to make the dashboard filters dynamically loaded and matching the report context. At the moment you can see filters that have no impact on the report data or you are missing filters for e.g., content and cohort. We are implementing a change to have the dashboard filters shown according to the report. This increases the value of the reporting as you can filter on the relevant dimensions.

  • The Planday interface (https://planday.com ) is available for customers to sync users with Planday. The users are imported from Planday and created in uQualio. There is some mapping and status we still work on with the first customer implementation this week.
  • Integration category ‘User provider’ is renamed to ‘User management system’ in Configuration -> Integrations -> Integrations.
  • Magic Links in REST API: We have added new options for the login links you create in the API Link Service (/link, /link/site, /link/target). You have two new options: Duration and MagicLink. Duration can set the duration of longer than default (60 seconds) if you need this. When you enter ‘0’ as duration then the link is valid until used unless the link is set as MagicLink. MagicLink will enable the link to work multiple time until expired or e.g. the course or channel is removed. This way the user can login multiple times without having to enter password or confirm via a verification code sent by email or text (SMS). MagicLink impacts security and user identifcation as there is no validation of the user as long as the link is active.
  • Course Page – AI Text-to-Speech: When the user clicks on the Text-to-Speech icon for e.g. Description, then the text field is expanded.
  • Course Page – transcript box opens when you change Dynamic AI language and stays open when you move to the next video.
  • Course Page navigation. The navigation items are moved so they are just below the video on both browser and device. This gives a better user experience both with transcript expanded and collapsed.
  • Naming updated. We found several places where the new content names were not used.

  • Request Access report is now hidden when the feature is disabled in Configuration -> User Settings -> Allow User Signup -> User can request access.
  • Directory shows ‘No courses’ and ‘No channels’ when there is nothing at all to show.
  • User logout and reset improved. In some cases a user would not be able to login from the previous browser session. This was due to some local settings which blocked the user from logging in. We have updated the logout process to always clear the local storage. This should prevent this from happening in the future.
  • Content Editor: The placeholder text color is changed so it is more readable.
  • REST API: Preparations for updated ‘Magic Link’ feature started.

  • Course Reports moved. We have moved the course overview reports from Reports to Course Manager. They are related directly to the content and not general reporting.
  • Report count made context sensitive. On e.g. Course Page then you see reports for Quiz and Test even when there are neither quiz nor test questions. We have made the reports context sensitive to reduce the reports to relevant reports for the specific course page. This minimizes the options for the admin user on the course page.
  • Import from spreadsheet: We have updated the error checking before import to be better to find duplicates. The priority will be updated soon to reflect the identify field priority: External Id, Email, Phone number.
  • Free trial accounts now have the account name as Stripe Account name.

  • Directory & Channel Sorting: New sort field added, ‘Date Created’. User feedback asked to have both ‘Date Changed’ and ‘Date Created’ as sort fields on Directory and Channel pages. We have added the new option for search field here.
  • Free trial links are now redirected to the checkout page for account creation. The revised free trial flow will give a better user verification and allow for full functionality in the 14 days trial period of uQualio.

Release/2026.007

  • New main domain: video4learning.com  from 22 January. All new accounts created from now and forward will be on video4learning.com . This is step towards opening up for more SEO for our customer accounts as we split uqualio.com  and the customers’ accounts. When a new account tries to access [subdomain].uqualio.com, then we redirect to [subdomain].video4learning.com. Existing accounts can use both items, but mayb be asked to migrated if they are not using this as we can handle the redirect for existing links and QR codes.
  • Saved Searches: The search types Account Search and System Search can only be Default search when the search is Public at the same time.
  • Saved Searches: When you select a Saved Search from the list of searches, then a spinner is shown so you can see that the system is working on getting the data for the search.
  • REST API: User information now has Country Code and Language as part of the response. The fields are automatically filled when they are available for the user.

  • AI Content Generation: You are no longer asked if you want to generate questions by AI when the video transcript is empty.
  • Grid heading alignment was not consistent for some data types. All heading are now left aligned.
  • AI Text-to-Speech: the extended AI Text-to-Speech features on the course page are available to customer with at least subscription feature ‘AI Content Generation’.
  • Topic legacy videos for low and medium quality are removed from the system and the video storage.

  • Import from spreadsheet: ‘External Id’ added as new optional column. This makes it possible update all user types from the import.
  • Saved Search dialog: The report name is moved from a column to the dialog header for clearer identifiation. There remaining columns are made wider for better readability.
  • Saved Search: Only public searches are shown to the user.
  • Subscription dialog updated. Details and price summary are swapped to make clearer when activating or changing the subscription.
  • Design: Getting color palette and images from website made robust. If the URL did not contain http/https then nothing was returned. We now added https if this is not entered by the user.
  • Checkout free trial is available in Production. Will be enabled as default account creation in the next release.
  • Account Settings pages updated for better mobile experience.
  • Content reports: Default columns and default sorting field updated for the reports.
  • Interface: New interface in progress for a User Provider, Planday ( https://planday.com). With the interface you can sync your employees from Planday into uQualio so you always have users updated with status and details.

  • Saved Searches: Added new search types to enable better default search setting. There is now there levels of searches for each report: User Search, Account Search, and System Search. The User Searches are defined by the each admin user and one can be tagged as default. The Account Searches are defined by users with the Account Manager role and one can be tagged as default. The System Searches are created by uQualio and one can be tagged as default. When the user opens a report then the user’s default search is shown. If not defined, then the default Account Search is shown if defined. If not defined, then the default System Search is shown. If not defined, then the report is shown is the default columns and sorting field.

  • Colossyan interface (https://www.colossyan.com/ ) is updated. Their API changed so the API key must now be taken from a workspace as the old API key from the account are deprecated in January 2026. You can replace the existing key with the new one from the Colossyan workspace. You do this in Configuration -> Integrations -> Integrations -> Video Providers -> Colossyan.   • Reports: All reports are now default sorted by a uQualio define sorting field. In most cases this is ’email’. For content reports it is ‘Content Name’.
  • Integrations: New integration category added ‘User Provider’ for the upcoming user integration with several user management platforms.
  • User Image replacement. When you replace the user image the previous image is deleted. Previously the new was uploaded and the old kept in the system’s storage without any reference from the user profile.
  • Security: We have increased the security level of texts being entered into the system. All texts are now checks for potential XSS injections. All HTML tags are stripped from names and short texts. For larger texts we strip all potentially illegal keywords and leave a set of basic HTML tags. The text is sanitized and passed on to standard validation after sanitization. If you have any problems, please contact support with details on your issue.
  • Mobile onboarding flow updated with a specific dialog. The user is informed that the best experience is on browsers and not mobile.
  • REST API: Create corporate invite and create channel invites enpoints are extended with an optional parameter for sending the notification from uQualio. When ‘SendNotification’ is set, then uQualio will sende the invite to the user’s email.
  • REST API: Create corporate invite and create channel invite endpoints now return the invite link like create cohort invite does. This enables a better implementation as you only need to call once to both create the invite and to get the invite link for sharing through your application.
  • Free trial checkout availble. It is now possible to create a free trial with a checkout with a valid credit card. The first 14 days are free and then the card is charged.
  • Google Tag Manager scripts updated for uQualio.

Release/2026.001

  • Course Manager: When you changed the end date of a course or a cohort to be later than the parent, the system did not warn you that this was not possible, but just ignored the new end date. It now shows with an error in case you try to made the end date to be later than the parent.
  • Course page, mobile: The topic with video is made wider to present the video larger.
  • Reports: Column formatting is being recentralized to have consistent cell formatting and alignment across all grids in the system.
  • Reports: Default report sorting field is defined as option. uQualio default sorting field is email address. Will be implemented in all reports soon.
  • REST API: Endpoint /users/{}/invites returned an invalid cohort link. The correct link is now returned in the response.
  • Private channel did not show protected cohorts for invited users. This is now fixed. When a user is invited to the private channel the courses are shown along private cohorts.
  • Non-existing subdomain caused the system to show spinner forever. If you tried to open a non-existing account like e.g. doesnotexist.uqualio.com  then the system would spin forever. The correct behaviour is to redirect to uqualio.com . This now works again.
