Ice Cap, after Ignore
Ice Cap (JP: ヒョー坊) is a species of monster that the protagonist encounters in Snowdin.
Described as a "teen", they appear as a small humanoid figure made of snow with a disproportionately large head. They have large, sunken eyes and a rotating, orange, drill-like nose that resembles a carrot that is commonly put on a snowman's face. They proudly wear hats made of ice, which can come in red, green, or blue colors. Their bodies or shirts are also colored, either with the same color of their ice hats or white for the blue ice hat.
If Ice Cap's hat is stolen, they transform into Ice, which appears as a literal block of ice.
Ice Caps are narcissistic monsters that are desperate for attention; they proudly wear their hats in an attempt to catch the protagonist's eye. They also show an interest in fashion.
If transformed into Ice, they become despondent, having lost its hat and therefore its identity. They can be cheered up and learn to embrace its new identity if complimented.
Ice Cap's name may be a pun on the polar ice caps and "cap". The name may also be a pun on "nice cap".
If the protagonist does not kill any Ice Caps before battling and sparing Papyrus, they can later be found as NPCs throughout Snowdin. They have a new dialogues if they are talked to by the end of the True Pacifist Route.
- Top hat-like objects appear at the bottom of the screen and shoot chunks of ice upwards, which fall back down after a bit of a delay.
- Waves enclose the top and bottom of the screen with a zig-zagging path between them that can be dodged by simply moving up and down slightly in a rhythm, or staying still at a safe height near the middle of the screen, where neither the top wall nor the bottom wall can reach.
- Ice has no attacks on its own. If paired with another enemy, it uses the waves attack, but the attack only covers one part of the screen.
- Sparing conditions are met after Ignoring it twice.
- Alternatively, if Snowdrake or Chilldrake is present, selecting the [Joke] command from the [ACT] menu on Snowdrake/Chilldrake makes it spareable.
- Stealing its hat after sparing conditions have been met makes its hat melt, and then it turns into just "Ice". The protagonist can gain more EXP and GOLD by attacking it.
- Complimenting Ice Cap in this state earns the yellow text in the True Pacifist ending credits.

In Chapter 2 of Deltarune, a group of Ice Caps are shown admiring Jerry's counterpart Terry near the church.
