I falter, I fumble
I alter, I stumble
Your work is never done
Day 16
Your yearning tongue twisted
Slow syllables made more sense than silence.
Keeping it short for day 11. I’m really tired and expect little time to write today. This one started at the same moment as Impudent impingement. When you read the first line of that poem, you can see why 🙂 .
Extra, extra, read all about it
Curiosity found love on Mars
Nasa expects life next

Day 4. The prompt was to write about love without using the word love. I digressed. And I wrote Einstein was right: love has amazing properties straight after this one.
Poor little old me
I am Windows 8
Nobody gets me
Nobody likes me
Windows
I’m 8
going on 9
Nobody likes me
Guess what inspired these little poems? It was not the prompt for #OctPoWriMo day 27, which was to write about sleep or dreams. I honoured the prompt by going to bed at 8 PM yesterday. after I had spent a lovely day at the Efteling, a fairytale theme par. That’s where the picture is taken.
Coincidentally, the Efteling has been the scene for a number of my nightmares. I remember one specifically: I was held captive by a troll king our something, two levels beneath the ground. He said he’d let me go if I impregnated his daughter. An impossible task, since in that dream I was as female as during the day…
It’s a weird version of Rumpelstiltskin I guess 😉 I definitely don’t want to know what Freud would think about it! I do wonder if after my visit yesterday, the nightmares wil choose a different scene. The Efteling is lovely and a lot of fun.
I wasn’t planning on joining the National Poetry Writing Month, but it happened anyway 🙂
What shall we do with the drunken sailor
When he speaks the truth
The whole truth
And nothing but the truth
(#NaPoWriMo prompt 1 and 3)
I’m lying now, she said.
Me too, he answered.
(#NaPoWriMo prompt 2)
Unfortunate Conflict of Interest
Take good care
of you
Imagine who won’t
if you don’t
