The name “Type of Feeling” was inspired by our belief that fonts have the power to convey emotions and feelings beyond the actual words they represent. Each of our typefaces is carefully crafted to evoke a specific mood or sentiment, and the corresponding name reflects that intention.
Following payment you will receive a Sales Receipt / Invoice. Please click on ‘Download’ to receive your font file(s) and the corresponding license agreement(s). Please download your order promptly.
Yes and no. If you convert the font to outlines, you can edit the contours as much as you like. But, you cannot customize the font file itself or use the contours you’ve created to generate a new version of the typeface. When in doubt, read the End User License Agreement!
Yes – however, public PDF files may only be created if the font is embedded in such a way that the reader is restricted from changing the embedding permissions, extracting the font from the document, and / or creating or editing new content using the fonts.
No – all of our sales are final, and we do not offer refunds for mistakes made by the buyer. Before you proceed with final payment, please be sure you are purchasing the correct font and type of license. However, we are here to help! In the event of any technical issue or difficulty rendering the font unusable, we will work with you to resolve the situation.

The easiest method is to pay by credit card. We accept the most common credit cards, including VISA, Mastercard, and Amex. You may also choose to pay via PayPal. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay through PayPal. We do not accept cash or checks or monopoly money (sorry).
Yes, we offer custom typefaces. Type of Feeling fonts are a great way to pull together any project – custom typefaces give your brand an original, memorable, and unified presence across all content. Commissioned typefaces can be licensed with a number of options, including specialized language support and exclusivity. Please reach out to us with your specific needs, we’d love to collaborate with you.
Like any other creative project, the cost of a custom typeface depends on what you need. Need it exclusively in 8 specialized languages? – that will probably cost more. Looking for a simple, but distinct font for your local business? – that will probably cost less. Please reach out to us with your specific needs, and we’ll determine an appropriate cost for your font needs.
EULA stands for End User License Agreement. When you buy a typeface from us, what you’re buying is a license to use our font software in specific ways. The usage rules for our fonts are described in your EULA, which is the legally binding contract between Type of Feeling LLC and you.
Select “App License’ on the purchasing page & include the number of apps you will be licensing the font for.
Please check out the End User License Agreement for information on what is included. An app license allows users to embed the typeface within application software.

A domain is the most basic portion of a website address. For example, typeoffeeling.com is a single domain. We allow unlimited subdomains within each domain, so typeoffeeling.com/welovetype would be covered under the license for typeoffeeling.com, but weirdtypeoffeelings.com and typeoffeeling.org would each be separate domains.
If you’re a large enterprise or a small non-profit organization and find that our pricing structures aren’t suitable for your needs, please reach out to us. Depending on your situation, we may be able to offer special deals to accommodate your requirements.
All our licenses are perpetual, meaning you only need to pay once and can use our typefaces your license forever. We don’t offer monthly or annual subscriptions, so you never have to worry about recurring payments as long as your usage needs fall within the scope of the acquired license.
