I'm told I am the first in the state to use the @Medtronic GI Genius #ArtificialIntelligence equipment to detect polyps. I'll post some videos in this thread, and happy to answer questions from my limited experience. #PolypThursday #GITwitter #medtwitter

Here’s my completely empiric pyramid of laxatives. Everyone has their own opinions and experience. This is just what’s worked for me. @medicalaxioms @tberzin #gifellowship #medtwitter @MedTweetorials @somedocs

No #PPI with octreotide! The anti secretory effect of octreo apparently gives enough acid suppression. Maybe, maybe maybe not even for other UGIB. Per Loren Laine. I’ll have to research this… 😳 #GITwitter @AmCollegeGastro #ACG2022 @NeenaSAbrahamMD @LorenLaine2

    Let's have a little tweetorial on polyp size estimation during colonoscopy. This seems to be a recurring topic, and worth reviewing in detail. #medtwitter #gitwitter #MedEd #GIFellows @DCharabaty @BilalMohammadMD @stevenbollipo @TedWJamesMD @ebtapper @GI_Pearls #PolypThursday

This happened to me in almost every one of my rotations, usually by the most junior person on the team. Even ward clerks would abuse us as students. GI was the only rotation where I was treated as a human being. It’s the main reason I chose this field. Thanks for sharing.

I assisted a colleague doing a polypectomy yesterday using a second scope. Here is the story and a brief review. A 73 y/o female presented as a direct scheduled first-time CLN. Better late than never? #GITwitter @GI_Pearls @DrReddyGI @TarunRustaGI_MD @stevenbollipo @yojo_511

I’ve officially changed my twitter name from the ridiculous-sounding The GI Doctor to my real name. Twitter’s been new for me. But I’m learning! #medtwitter #gitwitter @somedocs
