Alvaro Pombo, CEO and Founder of TrueContext, is a technology industry leader and innovator. He plays a fundamental role in defining the culture of TrueContext and leading by example – business process curiosity, passion about technology and provoking positive transformation. Alvaro is a regular speaker at technology events and conferences, with a focus on how SaaS and related technologies can transform business operations and improve profitability. He also nurtures young technology entrepreneurs, sharing guidance and advice to the next emerging generation of innovators.

Alvaro has 30 years of leadership experience in Field Automation and IT, including the role of CIO and Vice President of Global Information Technology for the Carrier Internetworking Division of Alcatel Lucent, and six years with Exxon, where he played a key role of introducing field automation solutions. Alvaro served as consultant to Palm Inc., developing their business App store strategy.

Pombo holds several Patents and is the winner of several distinctions from the City of Ottawa, the Government of Colombia, and other organizations recognizing his entrepreneurial work. He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, an MBA from the University of Ottawa, and studies at Georgetown University.

Varun Nath is the President and Chief Operating Officer of TrueContext, where he leads the company’s mission to scale operational excellence and drive customer-centric growth. By operating at the intersection of product strategy and execution, Varun ensures TrueContext remains a pivotal catalyst for digital transformation in the field.

Varun brings a distinguished track record of scaling high-growth B2B SaaS organizations by building cultures of deep customer-centricity. He specializes in aligning cross-functional teams to prioritize the end-to-end customer journey, a philosophy he championed as Chief Operating Officer at Avionté Staffing Software to drive sustainable growth and superior client outcomes. By bridging the gap between internal operations and the user experience, Varun ensures that organizational efficiency translates directly into long-term value for the customer. His global perspective on customer success was further refined during his tenure at health technology leader Epic, where he served as General Manager for Middle East operations based in Dubai.

Varun holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is dedicated to helping technology companies navigate rapid expansion while building the foundations for sustainable, long-term scale.

Glenn Chenier has over 20 years of technical leadership and implementation experience in product and services development and enterprise IT systems.

Prior to joining TrueContext, Chenier led Alcatel-Lucent’s software services design team responsible for solutions to operationalize the IP service routing networks of several major telecom carriers. As product manager of knowledge management at Alcatel-Lucent, he led the design and implementation of the Service Routing Knowledge Base and several other software solutions to operationalize the Service Routing Certification program. Chenier led the implementation of the company’s enterprise-wide web content management system and several other components of their customer-facing relationship management systems.

Chenier holds a master’s degree in social sciences from the University of Ottawa.

Aly Mawani is a digital transformation and analytics specialist with over 20 years of client-facing experience. He is driven to help organizations create business value from data and apply data science to address organizational challenges. Before joining ProntoForms in 2018, Aly held senior management roles in Strategy, Marketing and Technical Support, within the Analytics division at IBM Canada.

Driven by a passion for building solutions that are based on innovation, design, and experience, Aly previously led the Professional Services team at ProntoForms, before assuming responsibility for Operations (systems, data & analytics, and business process management).

Aly holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa, and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Waterloo and McMaster University. He continues to subscribe to life-long learning and endeavors to stay abreast of all topics in the realm of thought leadership, design thinking, and artificial intelligence.

Rishika leads marketing at TrueContext, where she is responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy and marketing organization, supporting growth across acquisition, retention, and expansion. Her focus is on building a disciplined, revenue-aligned marketing engine that connects product strategy, market insight, and sales execution.

With over 15 years of experience across B2B SaaS and enterprise software, Rishika brings a systems-level approach to marketing leadership—balancing strategy, execution, and operational rigor. Her work centers on clarifying positioning, strengthening competitive differentiation, and enabling sales, partners, and customer teams to drive sustainable, measurable growth.

Rishika has led marketing and growth functions in both early-stage and scaling organizations, giving her a pragmatic perspective on what it takes to build teams, processes, and GTM foundations that endure as companies grow. She is particularly passionate about aligning marketing with business outcomes, improving funnel visibility, and ensuring marketing investments translate into real impact.

She holds an MSc in International Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Glasgow and brings a thoughtful, execution-driven approach to leadership grounded in data, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Mansell Nelson is a senior telecommunications executive with a proven background in successfully bringing new technologies to businesses in Canada.

Prior to joining TrueContext, Nelson was the Senior Vice President, Products and Solutions, Enterprise Business Unit, with Rogers Communications Inc. During his 15 years with Rogers, Nelson developed and brought to market a variety of strategic consumer and business mobile solutions, including messaging, mobile broadband, fleet management, and Internet of Things (IoT).

Prior to joining Rogers, Nelson held senior business development roles at Look Communications and Telus in Vancouver, British Columbia. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of British Columbia.

Jessi leads People & Culture at TrueContext, where she focuses on building a high-performing, people-centered organization that can scale with purpose. She oversees talent strategy, leadership development, organizational design, and employee experience, helping align people programs with business growth.

With a background spanning operations, leadership, and culture-building, Jessi is known for bringing clarity, practicality, and heart to complex problems. She believes strong teams are built on accountability, transparency, and trust.

Based in Ottawa, Jessi spends most of her time solving challenges with great people — and occasionally with strong coffee.

Carl Turner is an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with more than 25 years of private practice and in-house experience. Carl began his legal career at Gowling Lafleur Henderson (now Gowling WLG Canada). In 2014, he transitioned in-house and since then has held senior legal and general counsel positions with both private and public companies including Blackhawk Network Canada and Cargojet. Carl provides day-to-day legal and strategic advice on a wide range of matters, including software licensing, vendor agreements, reseller agreements, employment, intellectual property ownership and protection, data privacy and data security.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ottawa University and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from York University and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
