Just publish your indicator in TrendSpider, agree to the terms, and set a price. Once your indicator is submitted, you will be automatically given a First Promoter account. In First Promoter, you will setup your payment instructions so we know how to send your funds, complete any tax paperwork required and be able to monitor the sales of your indicators in real time.

Customers are charged against the credit card or Pay Pal account they have on file with TrendSpider. All indicators are charged monthly (no pre-payments) and there are no automated refunds or pro-rations. Each customer will automatically get a one-time 5 day free trial of every indicator.

Each customer can get 1 free trial for each indicator. Free trials last for 5 days and cannot be extended automatically. TrendSpider staff has the ability to extend trials on request, and may do so under certain circumstances. Once a trial ends, if the customer has not cancelled the indicator subscription, they are automatically charged and you are automatically credited. Developers are required to provide trials.

We can’t help you pick a price, but we do recommend that you price your indicator proportionally to the value it creates and the complexity of its code. The more complicated and advanced the indicator, the higher the price. Developers often have the best success with prices between $20 and $50 per month.

Yes. TrendSpider automatically obfuscates and encrypts all source code. End-users are unable to see it. It is intentionally processed in a way that makes reverse engineering very difficult, if not impossible. TrendSpider takes every measure to protect code because we understand how important your work is to you.

There are many, many reasons, but we would argue that the two most important ones are (a) the flexibility and power of our JavaScript engine, which allows your indicators to work in scanners, strategies, alerts, bots, and more. This is unique in the trading ecosystem. Most platforms that allow custom indicators, only are able to process them for display on a chart. Additionally, (b) TrendSpider offers the most robust and easiest-to-use monetization program. On other platforms, developers are responsible for user access entitlement. TrendSpider has automated that. You do not need your own payment processing account, you don’t need to spend time managing users, all of that is done for you. You build, and collect your checks.

Not individually, but TrendSpider does offer you the option to opt-in to TrendSpider Store Promotions. When you opt an indicator into this program, it will be automatically discounted when we run a TrendSpider Store Promotion. This means your indicator will be temporarily discounted to end users by a percentage determined by TrendSpider and not to exceed 50% for a period of time determined by TrendSpider not to exceed 12 months. Paired with participation comes free extra exposure. TrendSpider Store Promotions will be marketed to the TrendSpider customer base as well as on TrendSpider’s social media channels to raise awareness for your indicators and inspire traders to try them out. Nothing else changes. Users still get their 5 day free trials, and you still collect 80% of your revenue.
