Sir Patrick Stewart has announced his marriage by tweeting a picture of himself and his bride grinning in a ball pool.

Sir Patrick's good friend and fellow acting giant Sir Ian McKellen even officiated the ceremony and wedded the pair. Sir Ian was ordained a minister before hand - and proudly showed off a picture of himself with his ministerial certificate on his FaceBook on Sunday - and seemingly officiated over the ceremony in a hardly-formal black t-shirt with the word 'Minister' written across the front.

Patrick and Sunny first met in 2008 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2008 whilst Sir Pat was acting in a Broadway production of Macbeth. Patrick was previously married to Sheila Falconer for 24 years between 1966 and 1990, with whom he has two children; Daniel and Sophia. He was also married to Star Trek: The Next Generation producer Wendy Neuss from 2000 to 2003.

daily Meditation

“I will be successful, no matter what.”

This is the mantra that successful women live by.

They know the secret of success is to believe in themselves and believe in the possibilities. They succeed because they have created a vision for themselves and have taken responsibility for their own future. They refuse to feel like victims or waste time blaming others.

When faced with a challenge, they don’t give up. They persevere. They believe they can do whatever it takes to get the job done. They have made peace with the fact that it won’t be an easy road and failure may come their way. Instead of giving up, they learn from their failures and keep forging ahead.

This can be your mantra. You are a capable woman and there is no reason you can’t use your power of belief to succeed.

Believe in yourself!

“You deserve to feel like Number One!”

It’s time to clean house and surrender any destructive thoughts in your head. No more will you allow negative people to scramble your brain. No more will you dwell on painful uncomfortable times.

Let go means – let go!

Make it a priority to keep investing in yourself and your well being. Make room in your life for happiness, success, healing and fulfilling relationships.

Before you know it, you will start feeling entitled to abundance. And, that is as it should be, because you are Number One!

But you got to have friends...

My sis trekwriter is having a friendy frenzy, go forth and friend!

Listen to Bette, she knows what it's all about.

daily Meditation

“Laugh – it feels good and it’s good for you!”

Have you laughed yet today?

For most of us laughter doesn’t come very often, yet the magic it performs on our well-being can’t be denied. It helps you enjoy friends and family. It diffuses stressful situations and it allows you the opportunity to keep things in perspective.

In times of adversity, humor helps you to cope and survive. It helps you recognize absurdities in situations, and eases the tension.

Recognize what makes you laugh and put more of it in your life. Let your sense of humor see the fun in everyday experiences and open yourself to silly and outrageous thoughts.

Allow your laughter to flow. After all, laughter is the best medicine.

daily Meditation

“Cherish those that are closest to you.”

Often, the things we value most become so much a part of us we forget to appreciate them. We take things for granted and never give them a second thought.

Have you ever called an acquaintance to thank them for something they’ve done, and never thought of saying thanks to your dearest friend for everything she has done?

Today is your day to reflect on the things and people that have done things for you. Take joy in your love for your children, your partner, your friends and other family members. Then, find a way to let them know how much they mean to you.

You’ll feel great when you do – and so will they!

“Diffuse your anger with forgiveness.”

We all get angry and upset at times, even at the people who are our nearest and dearest. Imagine what would happen if you stayed angry and shut them out of your life forever. Your world would never be the same.

Forgiveness diffuses anger. Forgiveness strengthens character. So, even though there are times when forgiveness feels like the last thing you want to do, do it anyway. Even if the pain is hard to forget, remember, forgiveness is your only option for wholeness.

Forgiveness holds tremendous healing power and liberates the soul. When you forgive, you let go of anger, resentment and blame.

Invite relief into your life today. Forgive your way to happiness and peace.

daily Meditation

“Take Five.”

There’s nothing worse than being overloaded with tasks and having minimal control over your amount of work, especially when you’re feeling the pressure of deadlines. The longer this goes on, the more frustrated and unhappy you start to feel.

It’s not worth it! You need to take care of yourself. Take a break if you need it, and get back in touch with yourself.

Something as simple as a five-minute walk can do wonders. It gives you time to think clearly, relax and put things back in perspective.

Remember, that you can only do what you can do, and stressing out over the impossible wastes the precious energy you need for the rest of your life.

So, take five, and feel glad to be alive!

daily Meditation

“It’s not where you start; it’s how you finish.”

When looking at the big picture, we all know that how we finish is more important than where we start. Many successful people started out in life with the odds against them, and came through winners. They didn’t let their starting situation determine their final outcome. Think about it…this same philosophy can apply to everything we do.

When working towards goals, forget that you may have started out at a disadvantage, met hurdles or made mistakes along the way. Move past the past! Don’t get discouraged. Don’t blame your past!

Stop looking back and start looking forward. Then, you will move ahead in leaps and bounds.

daily Meditation

“What you think and say determines your personal power.”

Do you frequently hear yourself saying things like, “I can’t do that,” “It’s beyond me,” or, “I am not the person for this task?”

If you express negativity often enough, your mind will believe it as truth.  It becomes a self -fulfilling prophecy and the longer it goes on the more you will be driven by false beliefs. You’ll be left feeling powerless and out of control.

Stop this vicious cycle!

Take notice of your inner chatter and vow to transform the “can’ts” into “cans.” Your internal voice must support you and give you reason to believe in yourself. It must foster respect and drive your potential. You are a capable woman, capable of endless possibilities.

Harness your negative thoughts today and make the transformation that destines you to greatness.
