The nerd is starting to come out in me. Last night the kids and I spent hours researching science fair projects….do you know how many lame ones there are out there? Madison’s still hasn’t been decided, but we sure did get Koles!!! We are doing acids and bases in basic household products like, Lemon juice, vinegar, laundry soap, and sprite. Which one is an acid?? Do you know? We have to test it by using water that’s steeped in red cabbage. (For the coloring) If the product changes pink it’s an acid! If it’s blue or green it’s a base. 🙂 I think it will be fun and interesting for Kole to learn, and it’s NOT a solar system. Now we just need to figure out Miss Madison. She’s only eight so it’s a little bit tougher to find something cool that she would understand.
