so i know i'm not here very much anymore(though i do still read on a regular basis), but i couldn't let today pass without saying something. today marks my tenth postiversary here. tenth. that's a long ass time in internet years. i absolutely love being able to go back through my journal and see a decade's worth of posts. so many memories are captured here and i wouldn't change any of them. sure there was drama sometimes, but the good far outweighs the bad for me.

anyway. i'm so glad we still have a livejournal to come to. i've seen many people say it's the only place they feel comfortable being "them" and i get that. twitter is fairly impersonal. facebook has such a hodgepodge of friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances that i sometimes have to censor myself. here i never had to worry about ranting. i'm so glad i've connected with a lot of you on those sites, but this place is where i really got to know you. i love you guys. i wish we all used this place more than we do.

and once again, for posterity's sake.
