Get Connected – Join a Networking Group!
Networking and referrals groups are a great way to connect and build relationships with other businesses people. We encourage all Chamber members to visit and join a Networking Group.
The Chamber has two Networking groups with unique sets of policies and guidelines. Each meets on a different day and time to fit into just about anyone’s schedule. Each group will give you the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business, practice your “30-second commercial,” and exchange referrals with other members.
Thurston Young Professionals
Monthly, 1st Thursday of each month: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Thurston Young Professionals (TYP) is a great place to interact with new and established, younger business professionals in a low-pressure environment. TYP provides opportunities for business networking, community involvement, and professional development to individuals in their 20s and 30s. Young Professionals meet monthly for networking and quarterly for professional development, iTYP (Influence Thurston Young Professionals).

Capital Networking
1st & 3rd Wednesday of Each Month
10am-11am
Location: Thurston Chamber of Commerce/Morningside - 1st floor Training Room. 809 Legion Way SE | Olympia
The group is open to chamber members representing their primary occupation. To ensure value for participants, only one representative per professional classification is permitted. Members are encouraged to bring referrals and guests, fostering both growth and connection within the broader business community. Cost is $150 annually.
Capital Networking is ideal for business owners, professionals, and leaders who want to:
- Build strong, trusted referral relationships
- Increase brand awareness and credibility
- Engage consistently with fellow chamber members
- Contribute to a positive, ethical, and supportive business environment

2nd & 4th Wednesday of Each Month, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
Elevate your network with dynamic in-person and virtual networking opportunities. Connect, collaborate, and tap into the wisdom of professional women. Open to both Chamber members and non-members, this platform invites you to share expertise, forge invaluable connections, and expand your sphere of influence.
