We agreed. Many many denizens of #medievaltwitter did agree with this pronouncement. Although it is true that many of us research things that have more complex justifications and outcomes than being “really fucking cool”, an awful lot of us got to those projects because we thought our fields were really fucking cool.

As early career scholars, we can get a bit exhausted justifying our research on other people’s terms. This blog is for celebrating the fact that sometimes, the thing that keeps you going is the fact it’s REALLY COOL.
