At the Tool Library, we don’t just provide people with the tools for their next project, we also empower them with the skills and knowledge to feel confident tackling that next big DIY challenge. That’s why we’re excited to be hosting a series of DIY workshop this spring and summer to give YOU an opportunity to learn hands-on skills that will save you time and money!

Electrical 101 w/ Joe

MONDAY, APRIL 27TH I 6PM-8PM

$20 MEMBERS | $30 GENERAL ADMISSION

Come learn some electrical basics, tips, and tricks with Joe! Learn how to properly and safely test and change electrical switches, outlets, and light fixtures! Selective hands-on experience included and no prior electrical experience required.

Spring Gardening w/ Michael

TUESDAY, MAY 5TH I 6PM-8PM

This workshop will cover the basics of opening your garden after winter, including preparing soil and beds for the growing season. Participants will also learn how to divide and propagate perennials, explore native ephemerals and early spring blooms, and gain confidence in seed sowing basics.

Window Screen Repair w/ Eric

TUESDAY, MAY 12TH I 6PM-8PM

Learn how to repair and replace your window screens. Participants will gain practical skills, including frame assembly, mesh installation, and tool usage to restore damaged screens with confidence. Bring a ripped or torn screen to practice your new hands-on skills!

Join More Than Knots Owner, Lissa Rhodes, to build a set of benches for The Tool Library. You’ll review safety tips, uses, and get hands on experience with the following tools: circular saw, miter saw, table saw, sander (orbital, belt & mouse), trim router, and basic hand tools.
