SO... Boredom set it, and I was cutting out Kool-aid points. yes, we still drink koolaid, and yes, I still save the points, and yes, I found the order form online. and dammit all, I'm gonna order myself some koolaid junk!

I have 3 cats. 2 are Maine coons, a breed known for it's love of water. These 8 month old kittens, Mew and Emily, needed a bath. I figured I give Nikki (the non- maine coon) a bath also, even though I knew she wouldn't like it. But I figured The kittens, they like water, they play in it! I washed Nikki first, got soaking wet, but it wasn't too bad. Next Emily, not declawed, but only 5 lbs, still not too bad. She tries to dog paddle. I guess she forgot she's feline. Mew is so laid back, he won't be a problem.

But Mew is 12 lbs.
and fluffy.
and STRONG!

and he does NOT like water.

I now have battle scars from a cat with only back claws. He also flooded the bathroom, and yowled bloody murder!

Now all the cats are drowned-rat looking, and rather pissed off.


Other than that, my life is boring. First day off in over a week! And next week back to boring...

I should NOT be allowed in the kitchen!

It's Thanksgiving... you're *supposed* to cook! Or go to a household that can cook. Well, I'm supposed to bring chips and dip. Pretty easy, huh? I just started my microwave on fire. Martha Steward lies.

I was trying to "freshen" my kitchen sponge like Martha says. "Just microwave a damp sponge for about a minute to kill any bacteria. Or, you can run it thru the dishwasher"

I shoulda tried the dishwasher.

BTW The other night we were getting ready for bed, and I asked him for my slippers. He pulled out my big turtle ones, and I said I wanted my penguin ones. He pulled them out and said, "What the hell are these? Sock mittens? Slippers are supposed to be big and fluffy! Not bit of fabric with linoleum on the bottoms!"
