R2

The R2 standard is described as “Responsible Recycling (“R2″) Practices for Use in Accredited Certification Programs for Electronics Recyclers”. R2 is specifically created for the electronics recycling industry by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), recognized by the federal governments GSA Bulletin FMR B-34 Disposal of Federal Electronic Assets.The standard requires Tekompass to have a set of protocols to recycle end-of-life electronics equipment, components and materials based on strategies such as reuse, materials and energy recovery and/or disposal.
