I also donated five dollars to the campaign. We're going for an article/ad in either Hollywood Reporter and/or Variety. And I'm seriously contemplating the tissue box thing with letters. Also there's tons of postcards. I may do the postcards. It's quicker and easier.

And yes I know, most of you don't watch SG-1 (shame on you!) and are probably tired of my blathering. But well, damnit, again I say, my LJ, my perogative. You don't have to read it if you don't want to. Heh.

I guess I haven't felt this strongly about a show in a long time. I wanted to rally around Firefly but I seemed to have missed the boat as well as Roswell. I came in at the end of the campaigns :( This one I'm rallying behind. Cuz if I had watched years ago, I WOULD have been part of SaveDanielJackson. I can GUARANTEE you that. :)

If you do watch SG-1, do me a favor and spread the word offline. The Internet community is one thing but there are so many fans out there who just don't know what's happened and/or happening. Maybe we can make a difference. I sure hope so.

And I love the slogans they came up with. Another of my favorites is, "SG-1 is my family. And noone messes with MY family!" Hee! :)

I'll have my own set of banners and icons soon enough. I have some ideas. Ooh, another project! *snerk*

Most of my friends have a post on the top of their LJ that stays there. It talks about their journal being friends only. Now it's my turn...

First off, I have a disclaimer...

That being said, if you do decide you want to get to know the innerworkings of my organized chaos of a life and the inner ramblings of my very whacked out mind, then go ahead and friend me. But please do drop me a note so I can check you out and friend you back. I used to update my LJ VERY frequently. I don't do that as much anymore, but when I do update, they're usually novella length. So fair warning, if you haven't heard from me in a while and you see a new post, be prepared for its length. I don't always use LJ-cut. I only like it when I post spoilers, quizzes, or things I think it's necessary for. I'm from the old school of LJ, we never had LJ-cuts back then and we coped just fine. That's right, I've had my LJ for going on over five years now. So read my profile, skim my public entries (most of the stuff before 2002 is public, back when I was TRULY an open book) and if you decide that you wanna get to know me, groovy. Just remember that I have a tit for tat rule. If I happen to add you to my FL, I'd appreciate it if you add me back. If you don't, most likely I will drop you. If you can read my innerworkings, I better be able to read yours. There are very few I let have exception to this rule. They're special. Heh.

Yes I know I haven't updated in forever and I do have LOTS to say (when don't I?) but I REALLY need your help folks!

As you know AIDS Walk LA is coming up in October, the weekend of my bday, the 14th and since I can't go this year I promised to help out pekeana in doing the Blogathon 2005 to help raise money for Team Spencer! :) It takes place TOMORROW the 6th thru Sunday the 7th from 9AM-9AM EST which is 6AM-6AM my time. Becky and I will be up for 24 hours blogging in our lj jseb_blog2005 every half hour and your job is to sponsor us to keep going for the whole 24 hours. You may even wanna watch the blogging, I promise it will be entertaining as Becky and I get drunk on little to no sleep. *g*

Did that make ANY sense? Basically I'm trying to help raise money for Team Spencer since I can't go to the walk and raise money THAT way. SO please help me out!

It is so weird seeing Richard Schiff without his trademark Toby beard. Heh.

So I have two things to *squee* about. Remember how I said that I was waiting to see "Firewalker", Brad's XF ep? Well guess what I am watching? *bounce!* he looks all scrummy and yet he is still delicious. *snicker* I really have it bad don't I?

Second thing is while trawling for more LJ icons, I found out that the lovely Miss smut_queen who made my J/D theme, took and UPDATED the theme! So there is a version 2 and it is so much better! The pics fit the moods better PLUS there is a gratuitous Josh arms shot for the mood HOT, taken from when they were playing bball in the opening of "The Crackpots and These Women". You know, I could die a happy little fangirl right now.

Other than that I once again have two flies. They're hanging out near my kitchen light and clock over the sink. I'm deliberately keeping lights off in the living room to keep em away. These things are friggin huge. Maybe they are horsefly houseflies. I just wish I knew WHERE they were coming from. They're more annoying then anything.

I'm still jumping whenever I hear a sound. I think critters are rustling. I do not like this at all. Meh.

But yay for the ep and yay for the mood theme. SO far I have seen only glimpses of my boy. And most of the time he's covered in fire and muck. And then the rest of the ep he has a full beard. Weird seeing him like that. But who cares, he's Brad, he's still gorgeous *g*

I love watching these early XF eps. Even back in Season 2 you could see the obvious love and connection between Mulder and Scully. I mean eps like One Breath which was just on where he's crying and then praying and stuff. It's just so there. Funny how Season 2 always seems to be my favorite of my shows. My favorite season of Buffy was Season 2. My favorite season of XF was Season 2 (it was the Oncology season I believe). Or maybe that was Season 3. My favorite season of West Wing is Season 2. *snicker* So yeah back then you could see the obvious M/S love. It's so much like Josh and Donna, it's damn freaky.

Ok Trepkos just showed up. He's covered in muck but dude, the ARMS! The ARMS are there :) Oh yeah I can live with that. And you can see the pecs thru the tank top. Really this guy is in insane shape for being in his 40s. *grrrrrrrrrrrowl*

We need more gratuitous Josh arm and chest shots on West Wing again. But of course with the shooting they'd have to work with the scar so who knows how that would work. Meh. I just wanna see those arms again. *drool*

Scary how much Trepkos and Mulder are alike really. Listening to Trepkos' tape I bet Mulder was going, "damn I see shades of myself in him." Cept of course Mulder isn't bipolar. But well we do know he went crazy one season. Heh.

Back to my icon trawling. I just wanted to share my findings. *squee*
