About the Challenge

 

The Tech Titans Hackathon is an opportunity for students to tackle real-world problems in education using technology. Whether it's improving online learning, enhancing classroom engagement, or making knowledge more accessible, this hackathon is all about using technology to transform education. This is an Online Hackathon

This challenge is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced developers. Participants will collaborate, innovate, and build solutions that address pressing issues in education while gaining hands-on experience in software development, design, and problem-solving.

Participants will also have access to mentors, workshops, and resources to help guide their projects. Final submissions will be evaluated by industry professionals, and winning teams will receive prizes and recognition for their work.

Requirements

What to Build

 

Participants are encouraged to develop solutions that improve education through technology. Your project should address a specific challenge in learning, accessibility, or engagement in education. Some ideas include:

  • AI-Powered Learning Tools – Personalized tutoring, automated feedback, or adaptive learning platforms.
  • Collaboration & Productivity Apps – Tools to help students and teachers stay organized and engaged.
  • Gamification in Education – Interactive and game-based learning experiences to make education more engaging.
  • Accessibility & Inclusion – Assistive technologies that make education more inclusive for all learners.
  • Educational Data & Analytics – Insights to help schools, teachers, or students improve learning outcomes.

Projects can be web apps, mobile apps, chatbots, VR experiences, AI-powered tools, or any other form of technology-based innovation that enhances education.

What to Submit

To ensure your submission is complete, please include:

  1. Project Demo – A short video (2–3 minutes) explaining your project, its purpose, and how it works.
  2. GitHub Repository or Codebase – A link to your source code or project repository.
  3. Presentation or Documentation – A brief description of your project, including its features, impact, and how it solves the educational challenge.
  4. Live or Hosted Link (If Applicable) – If your project is deployed, provide a link for judges to test it.
  5. Team Information – Names of all team members and their contributions.

Your submission should clearly highlight the problem you're solving, how your solution works, and its potential impact on education.

    How original and innovative is the project idea? Does the project solve an existing problem in a unique or unexpected way?
  • Technical Complexity & Implementation (25%)
    How technically challenging is the project? Was the solution well-executed and functional? Does the code demonstrate good practices and logical structure?
  • User Experience & Design (20%)
    Is the project intuitive and easy to use? How well-designed and aesthetically pleasing is the user interface? Does the project provide a smooth and seamless user experience?
  • Impact & Practicality (20%)
    Does the project have the potential to positively impact its target audience? Is the solution practical and feasible for real-world application?
  • Presentation & Communication (10%)
    Was the project clearly and effectively communicated? How engaging and professional was the team's presentation? Did the team effectively respond to judges' questions?
