TDM 3.01

TDM (Thermodynamic Data Manager) by SimSci-Esscor is a centralized environment for creating, validating, and maintaining thermophysical property data and thermodynamic models used across SimSci process simulation and optimization tools. It helps engineering teams standardize property methods and parameters, improve model accuracy, and ensure consistent results across projects and sites.

Key capabilities:

• Manage pure-component properties, binary interaction parameters, and transport correlations
• Build and deploy property packages (equations of state and activity-coefficient models)
• Import experimental data and perform regression to fit VLE/LLE and other phase-equilibrium parameters
• Validate models with plots, comparisons, and traceable reports
• Create and govern custom databanks with version control and approvals
• Integrate with SimSci simulators (such as PRO/II and ROMeo) to enforce corporate standards

Typical users include process engineers and modelers in refining, petrochemicals, gas processing, and specialty chemicals who need consistent, auditable thermodynamic data across simulations and real-time optimization applications.
