Problem: A customer compressing, a cleaning product, was experiencing high levels of corrosion on their tooling. The product was a degreaser so was corrosive in nature. On top of this they experienced sticking issues.

Solution: The customer was very happy using inserts, so I Holland recommended supplying our tooling with polymer inserts.

Success: I Holland’s tooling allowed the customer to apply higher press forces, which meant the tablet weight and thickness variations they experienced from sticking issues were now stable. Their corrosion issues were also resolved .
