System Requirements Lab by Husdawg, LLC is a lightweight PC analysis tool and online service best known for “Can You RUN It.” It quickly scans your Windows computer’s key hardware and software details—such as CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and operating system—and compares them against the minimum and recommended requirements for thousands of popular PC games and applications.

Designed for simplicity and accuracy, System Requirements Lab delivers a clear pass/fail summary and highlights any components that may limit performance. Its regularly updated database helps you make informed decisions before purchasing or installing new titles, and it can guide you toward potential hardware upgrades when needed.

The scan is fast, secure, and focused only on system configuration data; it does not access personal files. With straightforward results and up-to-date compatibility information, System Requirements Lab removes guesswork for gamers, PC enthusiasts, and anyone evaluating a system’s readiness for new software. If you download Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia homepage using the Internet Explorer you get asked if you want to install an ActiveX control.
If you say "Yes", Nvidia can determin what driver version you have installed and what harware you have in your PC.
Nvidia installs "System Requirements Lab" and "Nividia Smart Scan" (depending what drivers you want to update, mainboard or graphics card).
