SynNutra Equine’s mission is rooted in advancing horse welfare through innovative, drug-free solutions for performance-related health challenges. We are dedicated to research and development, formulating effective, natural products that address common medical issues in sport horses. Every formula we create is built around all-natural, field-tested herbal ingredients and essential endogenous nutrients—never pharmaceuticals.

With deep roots in equine veterinary medicine, SynNutra develops products in their Arkansas-based facility and uses certified outside laboratory testing for quality assurance. Meet the Founder
Dr. Edwin Simpson, a practicing veterinarian with over 30 years of experience in the thoroughbred racing world, founded SynNutra Equine to fill a critical void in equine health care: the need for safe, effective, drug-free solutions to common performance-related problems. Many of the challenges faced by competitive horses lacked satisfactory pharmacologic treatments—or any treatment at all. Driven by a deep commitment to horse welfare and informed by decades of clinical experience, Dr. Simpson set out to develop natural, science-based alternatives that could improve recovery, resilience, and performance without compromising safety or compliance.
Under Dr. Simpson’s leadership, SynNutra continues to push the boundaries of equine nutraceutical science, offering horsemen a new standard of care. Our formulations are developed not just in theory, but in practice—with a veterinarian’s eye, a scientist’s precision, and a horseman’s heart.
